I don’t understand the cries of “Mormon bashing” on this conservative Christian site. Mormonism is false doctrine any way you look at it, so why the problems with making that known, and possibly giving someone the information they need to leave it, or not to join in the first place?
The article makes some good points. The Mormon family on that show, “Sister Wives” supports sodomite marriage. When a religion teaches false things about the very nature of God, anything can follow.
Funny thing; I never see that philosophy applied to Southern Baptists on this board. Only Mormons. Why is that?

Mormons are not generally characterized as promoters of socialism.
On the FR home page, FR is characterized as "Free Republic is the premier online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conservatism on the web". I may find myself corrected, but I don't think Jim wants it to be reduced to a name-calling religious forum, where Evangelicals bash Mormons and Catholics, others bash Jews, etc.
Conservatism is not advanced nor benefited by in-fighting among conservatives on the basis of religion. As far as I'm concerned, if somebody is engaged in opposing socialism and Islamism, then he is my brother, without regard for his religious beliefs (or lack thereof).
The ones who cry “anti-Mormon bigotry” are weak-minded folks who are infected with political correctness. They can’t fathom that they have adopted the tactics of the left, even when it is pointed out to them.
