What about, “Go, and sin no more”?

If their life is really changed, they will find a way out. There’s plenty of help available. They might not make as much money on the deal.

That said, let’s look at another aspect. These actresses have “higher self-esteem”. So, then, why are they using drugs? There’s another demographic that tends to have high self-esteem. And the higher the self-esteem, the less they often have to back it up with.

I’m saying the situations may be analogous.

Exactly. God always wants his prodigal sons and daughters to return to Him. He is always ready to forgive. He loves a contrite and humble heart.

However, if the heart is not contrite, and there is no repentance for the sins committed [i.e. the sin continues unabated] .... any forgiveness is withheld, awaiting the repentance, methinks.

Go and sin no more.

Straightening up, Jesus said to her, “Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more.” ... John 8: 10-11

Prodigal son, forgive 70 times 7., Jesus died for sinners. Lets look at scripture:

James 1: 19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

James is writing to "brothers and sisters". This means he is writing to fellow Christians. He is not doubting their standing as Christians while at the same time he is telling them to get rid of all moral filth. To put it another way, James is telling morally filthy Christians to accept the word "planted in you".

If we apply this to the porn star then James would be accepting her as a fellow sister in Christ yet encouraging her to rid herself of her sin by trusting the word that resides in her.
