Please pray for Sarah; husband, Dennis; son, Will; and her entire family. They have sustained tremendous heartache and loss over the past few years. Here is the message from my sister-in-law, Paula.
"Dennis did not go back to Reserve yesterday, he stayed with Sarah. She was apparently confused about that. I was only able to speak to her for a minute. Her condition did not improve. This morning when she was transported to her radiation treatment, the doctor was unhappy with the state she was in, and ordered her readmitted at once to Las Palmas. Sarah's condition continued to deteriorate during the course of the day. I am very sad to tell you that her condition is now grave. She is in ICU and the results of an MRI show cancer has spread to her brain. She is unresponsive. Her vital signs are apparently okay but she has swelling in the brain. The doctors are there and trying to reduce the swelling. Your prayers are needed at this time. Sarah's son, Will is there with Dennis. Please pray for them too."
Thank you, FRiends.

“Family and Friends: Sarah is still with us this morning but she is now on a ventilator (respirator) and is heavily sedated. Dennis and Will are with her. Our brother Martin is on the way. My husband Joe and I are leaving later today by car. We hope to be in El Paso on Thursday morning. Thank you for all of your prayers and support for Sarah and the family at this difficult time.
Sarah’s nurse in the ICU advises that Sarah is resting more comfortably, but her condition is unchanged. Dennis and Will are waiting on the doctors... Sarah has been through so much, and has tried so hard... We love her with all our hearts, and want her to be at peace. Only God knows when He will be welcoming her into His arms. —Paula”
Yesterday, Sarah was confused and restless; today she is resting more comfortably. The Lord is with her, and He hears our prayers. I keep imagining Sarah as a little lamb with a bell around her neck, watching her Good Shepherd Who is smiling down at her, and in Whose light she patiently waits. Thank you, dear FRiends.
Prayers for her and her family....
Prayers for Sarah and her family are on the way.
Prayers have gone up for Sarah and her family. May the Lord comfort them during this time of sorrow.
Prayers for Sarah and her family.
Very sorry to hear this. I will keep them in my prayers.
Today, my wife is in Santa Fe with her parents. Her dad had squamous cell carcinoma. He beat the cancer but the chemo and radiation therapies basically weakened him past the point of no return.
We don’t expect him to last the week.
