Are there any other bishops requiring their priests to read such a letter? Shouldn't there be such a letter coming from the POPE to be read to ALL the diocese in America??? I doubt Kerry, Pelosi, Biden, et al, will be hearing it if they aren't in Peoria. I would LOVE to hear about those bullies from Americans United Against Church and State making threats to sic the IRS on every Catholic church in America especially since not a peep came from them when many of the African-American churches last Sunday blatantly campaigned for Obama's reelection from their pulpits.
If the Pope sent such a letter the media would go absolutely insane with fury-demanding that Americans not allow a foreign religious leader to dictate our way of life.
But they respect all the muslim declarations in the name of diversity;which is ironic because islam allows for no other views than its own.
