Featured Term (selected at random):
AFFECTED IGNORANCE
In ecclesiastical law, directly willed ignorance of a law or of its penalty, or both. Such ignorance does not excuse a person from automatic penalties (latae sententiae), i.e., those which follow immediately on breaking the law.
All items in this dictionary are from Fr. John Hardon's Modern Catholic Dictionary, © Eternal Life. Used with permission.
TOPICS: Apologetics; Catholic; History; Theology
KEYWORDS: catholic; excommunication
I think this refers to church law and would affect all CINOs and former Catholics -- even the non-Catholics who bash the Catholic Church continually after being told the truth multiple times on FR.
Rant over.
