An Oakdale priest has been charged with criminal sexual conduct involving a 12-year-old boy.
The boy reported to his mother that Curtis Carl Wehmeyer, 47, pastor of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament in St. Paul, had been sexually abusing him in a camper trailer in the church parking lot, according to a criminal complaint.

Commence morally relative, outward finger pointing in place of serious introspection and commitment to rid the priesthood of this problem....
Bring them up, personally, on charges and throw the key away. The church is an accomplice when they ‘cover’ for them.
I bet the word “homosexual” is never used in this article
The Church has for since the beginning ignored the truth of what this sort of behavior proves, and that is, it identifies Who is NOT leading this person. Such an one when allowed to continue ‘under the cloth’ poisons the Church from within.
This can’t be true.
A FReeper recently told me that the church had eliminated all cases of abuse and that abuse now only occurs in public schools.
The victim being 12 years old would make this priest a pedophile I would think. I have read that there is a differance. Being a new member of the Church, these reports bother me more now if that’s possible. I remember listening to Gordon Liddy (a Catholic) on the radio once, and he was saying that there was a shortage of priests and seminarians in the 70’s. And that the vetting process was eased to fill the ranks. Don’t know, but now it seems like the Church is moving faster to remove these priests. That being said, I think the Priest in Maryland who refused communion to a woman who basically flaunted her lifestyle in his face and dared him to do anything, was railroaded.
It is amazing that the same people attacking the Catholic Church and Boy Scouts for these kinds of things are the ones DEMANDING that the pervs be allowed in.
Buuut.... if we just let “gays” marry, they wouldn’t do things like this. /sarc

Vendomes version of a just and proper punishment:
I would chain his hands and legs, then pull him up four flights of metal fire escape stairs, feet first.
Then I would kicked him in the family jewels just enough to cause a stomach ache every 15 minutes for 8 hours.
After that I would push him out a window letting him fall four stories into a pile of razor wire 5 rolls high and 5 rolls wide.
He could lay in the pile of razor wire for two days in the desert sun and then I would release a flock of crows and 1 gallon of scarabs right next to him.
Your mileage may vary...
Link, please, tothe FReeper who recently told you this. Thank you.
There are different diagnostic categories in the APA’s DSM, but as a general description, “homosexual” means “male on male” and this is homosexual pedophilia, isn’t it?
I would encourage you to read “goodbye good men” to understand this within the Catholic Church.
No hot young females are involved.
Run along.
It’s both sad and disturbing that you find child rape funny.

“in the past 2 decades, the church rate, has been reduced to almost zero.”
They go on to mention public schools because hey,
Dont Blame Us, Everyone Rapes Children! - RCC
I think the same thing every time I see you screaming "not guilty" at one of those young hotties.
Another pervert masquerading as a priest has been outed and the Church dealt quickly and decisively with it as soon as it was made known. Why don't we equally decry the lack of parental oversight in these cases? Surely, there is some culpability there too.
Although there is still much room for improvement, leaving children in the presence and care of a priest is statistically the safest place they can be.
Peace be with you.
