Bronze bull =/= golden calf.

The actual term the Bible uses is `egel massekhah which literally translates to "[male] calf of casting" or [male] calf of molten work." It is sometimes referred to as `egel shel zahav (calf of gold) but this term is not found in the Bible.

The word for bull is par, but that is never used for the calf. Interesting tidbit: the Hebrew word for ox is shor, which came into Aramaic as tor and into Latin as taurus.

The wiki page link is a reference containing the photo of the letter in question along with the general backdrop/dates of events. Enough of a start to search for news or images from other/better sources.

The main point in my original posting [of what is a generally well-known image] was to provide a visual example of my comment regarding the muslims... that they have an instinct for targeting two specific nations as the objects of particular hatred, wrath, and destruction.

Other examples would be their burning of American and Israeli flags together, the contant rants against "America and Israel" and the "Jewish lobby" [in the US], etc. The accusations of America and Israel being in a "Zionist plot" collusion is commonplace but noone seems terribly interested in connecting the dots of such emnity.

This "Harbinger" message has the same problem... the author goes into great detail with a whole bunch of dots that plainly relate to ancient Israel, connects them with the US, but then neglects to close the circle. These folks are going nowhere with their messages if they are unable or unwilling to present the complete package and give proper weight to their warnings.

Meanwhile, hints have fallen from the sky like a double portion of Friday manna, e.g. Ephraim = "double ash heap" and also "I will be doubly fruitful". The *twin* towers were a double physical representation/symbol/central hub of world trade wealth (fruitfulness of commerce, exchange, labor), and yet became...? A: a double ash heap.

The National 911 memorial site presents the subtly designed date "9/11" with contrasting colors and san serif font. It's the audio/video icon for "pause". Pause. Reflect. At the memorial site. At [two blue] pools of reflection. A place to pause and remember [when the US was bruised black and blue].

I am in the process of reading it now. I am up to the 7th seal. Very interesting.

Personally, I believe that 9/11 could have been **much** worse than it could have been. The wall holding back the Hudson River held and the subway was not flooded. Thankfully, there was little panic and an amazing number of people managed to calmly leave the buildings. And...The plane that hit the Pentagon struck the one section of the agency that was under construction and nearly empty.

I see the above as being miraculous. It could have been **much** worse.

But.....I doubt that we will remain under God's protection much longer. Why?

1) Abortion; If millions can turn out to support a chicken sandwich restaurant, Christians and conservatives could if they **really** really***really*** wanted would shut down abortion permanently.

2) 85% of our nation's children attend godless government owned and run schools that, even at their best, were never more than generically and lukewarm Protestant in their religious worldview. (What does Christ do with the lukewarm? He spits them out of His mouth!) If Christians **really** really** really** gave a twit about their spiritual responsibilities to their children they would remove their kids from these godless indoctrination camps immediately and work to have all funding to them completely cut. In my county, this act would immediately shut down all government schooling. It is an abomination to force godlessness on innocent children where they must think and reason godlessly just to cooperate in the godless classroom! And...It is an abomination to force taxpayers to pay for it.

3) Public entertainment:

I watched American Idol for the first time last year during the final awards program. I was **shocked** to see Lady GaGa perform simulated intercourse on one the most watched family programs of the year. Where was the outrage? Why wasn't there massive cancellation of cable by Christians the next day and massive complaints to the advertisers?

I suspect that God is very annoyed with us. I expect that he is especially annoyed with Christians and conservatives because we do know better.
