Following the quick and unexpected settlement of her divorce proceedings, Katie Holmes has been doing a bit of house-cleaning in her personal life, part of which includes her return to the Catholic faith, five years after leaving it in favor of soon-to-be ex-husband Tom Cruises Scientology.
Holmes return to Catholicism is evident due to her registration as a parishioner at the Church of St. Francis Xavier in New York City. Everyone is thrilled to have Katie join us, a member of the churchs choir told the Huffington Post. She has not yet attended a service, but when she does she will be welcomed with open arms....
The warmth extended to Holmes from the Catholic Church contrasts Scientologys reaction to the divorce. Part of the divorce settlement precludes the couples daughter, Suri, from being exposed to Scientology at all. Under terms of the settlement, Suri isnt permitted to be exposed to anything Scientology related and this includes going to any Scientology churches, parties, etc. Katie made sure that this was ironclad in the agreement, a source told RadarOnline.

oh I wasn’t really trying to correct you - sorry if it came off that way.
I’ve always thought it was strange and sad how he behaved towards Nicole.
Scientologists never ever ever willingly let the kids go.
In the last 2 years there has been turmoil among the top guns - accusations of imprisonment & abuse amongst themselves when they fall out of favor with each other.
And now there is the death of the son of a former bigwig - and she was not allowed to see her son’s body, or attend any service.
So that leaves me with 2 scenarios...
1) Katie has something SO HUGE on Tom - that he has no choice.
or
2) Katie and Tom worked this out together to keep Suri away from the sickos.
We could actually be watching this twisted group imploding in on itself.
And I didn’t mean that you had corrected me, lol. I was just happy to receive your new info.
I’m sure she has evidence of Tom being gay. Look at what’s happening to John Travolta (another Scientologist).
I feel bad for John.
He strikes me as someone who got in way over his head and then probably had to deal with years of extortion.
Hopefully, now that the truth seems to be out there - that will give him the ability to wriggle free.
As I read the bulletin, confessions are at 2p on Saturday AND/OR by calling to schedule an appointment.
Oh yes, regular scheduled Confession but scroll down
to the Notice:
During July August and September
the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be
by appointment only
So like being banned from Scientology is a bad thing? Sounds like a blessing in disguise.
