I could not care less what religion he “used to be.” What I care about is that he is a hispandering, illegal alien supporting, amnesty loving, ineligible person for president.
After what has happened at the Supreme Court, I no longer believe this country is run under the rule of law. I doubt it will matter one bit that Marco Rubio is ineligible and from this point on any foreigner, including Russia’s Putin and Hu Jintao of China, can come to this country have their wife give birth on US soil and can claim the child will be eligible to run for president when they reach 35 years old.
We are no longer under the rule of law. We are certainly no longer under the Constitution.
Obama’s religion doesn’t seem to matter.
so, i’,m just curious. you obviously don’t care for some one of the mormon faith being president but do you check on the backgrounds of others in your life? If the man running your 401k was a mormon would you disinvest yourself of that fund? or if the policeman coming to save your hide was a mormon would you tell him to not bother but send a cop of another faith? your dentist or doctor? i really am curious how that works
When you have no faith or “religion” then it does not matter. The big whig dims only have socialism as their religion.
I’d vote for a member of the fried green tomato church if it would get this tyrant out of the white house.
Are you quite sure you don’t have me confused with someone else?
My comment, was related to the included quote of RnMomof7 from post number nine, “Well I would not vote for one Mormon.. certainly not 2”
The stunned disbelief response, was an attempt to NOT express my initial reaction, which I felt was not appropriate, considering the posters background, in hope of further reasoned discussion.
Bottom line, my reaction was to the unreasoned paint yourself into a corner attitude with religious undertones, when it is reasonable to assume who the Republican presidential nominee will be, and exactly who his opponent is. Exactly nothing to do with Mr Rubio, but since you would maybe have to divine that, your reaction might be excused.
Rest assured, I am NOT asleep, as you so casually assume.
Or: Have I completely misread your response?
How does this help us get rid of Obama?
“Id vote for a member of the fried green tomato church if it would get this tyrant out of the white house”.
...and that my second amendment friend, is the crux of the matter. Bully for the one sentence synthesis.
If he and his family got out of it, I’m fine with that.
Much ado about nothing if you ask me.
..or as a friend of mine put it the other day..
Better a Mormon than a Moron.
I would vote for a Gay-Illegal Alien-Reptilian-Californian-Twilight Fan if it meant getting 0 out of office.
Someone explain, how just was Rubio a mormon through his teen age years when he took his first communion in the Catholic Church when he was 13?
Doesn’t that sound like he end ENDed his involment with mormonism at 13?
Because they WILL: NOT take your name off until your 102 birthday date. It is away for them to keep their numbers up.
That wasn’t the case with mormons in Germany because they served on many of hitlers staff and in his youth armies. They were a protected religious group.
Rubio is not illegal. He was born in Florida.
I said Rubio was ineligible to become president. The word ineligible is not synonymous with the word illegal.
I'll match your "bigot card" against the bigotry of 52,000 mormon missionaries going around the world and lying to Christians by claiming that the Christian faith of centuries is false and that the only way to salvation is through baptism and confirmation in the mormon church and taking part in arcane rituals in mormon temples.
We find it hilarious that you FR mormons get your garmies in a knot about the posting of factual mormon doctrine from mormon sources by a few dozen FReepers at the same time that your leaders are bragging about the following:
We are grateful for the 52,225 full-time missionaries serving in more than 150 countries.16 The sun never sets on righteous missionaries testifying of the Savior mormon church. Think of the spiritual power of 52,000 missionaries, endowed with the Spirit of the Lord Joseph Smith, boldly declaring that there is no other name given nor any other way nor means whereby salvation can come
, only in and through the name of Christ.
"My young brethren of the priesthood, I testify of the majesty, but most of all, of the certainty of this magnificent event. The Savior lives. He will return to the earth (the Second Coming) . And whether on this side of the veil or the other, you and I will rejoice in His coming and thank the Lord that He sent us to earth at this time to fulfill our sacred duty of helping prepare the world for His return the mormon theocracy
."other people, who may not yield full obedience to his laws, nor be fully instructed in his covenants, will, nevertheless, have to yield full obedience to his government. For it will be the reign of God upon the earth, and he will enforce his laws, and command that obedience from the nations of the world which is legitimately his right (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: John Taylor [2001], 225).

Anyone who believes that Romney isn't fully immersed in this doctrine and the Law of Consecration is a fool: The Law of Consecration is considered by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be a "celestial law." That is, people who are living lives dedicated to the service of God, such that at judgment they would be assigned to the Celestial Kingdom, should be able and expected to live the Law of Consecration. The Law of Consecration is that, if necessary or requested, a person would give everything he has for the building up of the Kingdom of God on Earth. He would be willing to wholeheartedly give of his time, talents, and resources. Thus, the person is "consecrating" all his personal resources to the Lord.
The law of consecration, said Elder Bruce R. McConkie (191585) of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, is that we consecrate our time, our talents, and our money and property to the cause of the Church; such are to be available to the extent they are needed to further the Lords interests on earth.
He is still on the Mormon rolls
