The problem is that I see O as the greater of two evils. There is no third option. If there was, like a Palin throwing her hat in the ring, she’d get my vote immediately. But if no, then tell me what is the alternative besides Romney?

I am an American, and I don’t see it as my job to be in a war with people, strange as their beliefs are, that are committing NO crimes.

However; being a CHRISTIAN, I DO see it as my job to be in a war against HERESY; exposing FALSE teachings about CHRIST.
My marching orders are posted just above; in reply #58.

...being a CHRISTIAN, I DO see it as my job to be in a war against HERESY; exposing FALSE teachings about CHRIST.
Here is a sample:
Jesus Christ is Gods Son, spiritually and physically. He calls Him Father, He prays to Him. We are to pray to Him,, God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, His Son.
Gods voice was heard at Christs baptism, coming from Heaven while He was in the water. The Holy Sirit also descended. Three seperate entities/Gods.

I'm with you. When the subject of Mormonism has come up before on this forum, I have humbly offered the opinion that the (several) Mormons whom I have worked with over the years were wonderful family and business people to be with, I was told to shut up and go away, that was not the point of the thread.
So I will not do that again.

I am expressing my opinion of the unsatisfactory nature of both major Presidential candidates by not voting for either of them.

if you don’t vote for anyone, that’s a vote for obama as his die-hard supporters will vote for him. that’s the catch...

... I was told to shut up and go away, that was not the point of the thread. Oh??
I'd like to see EVIDENCE of your claim here.
I have humbly offered the opinion that the (several) Mormons whom I have worked with over the years were wonderful family and business people to be with...
And WHO disputed that?
I suspect you were TOLD the fact that MORMONism is the heresy being discussed, and that individual MORMONs lifestyles and beliefs were not very relevant; but when you post the DATA to prove your claim (or a link to it) then we'll see EXACTLY what you are trying to infer.

if you dont vote for anyone, thats a vote for obama as his die-hard supporters will vote for him. thats the catch...Not to worry; as there are MILLIONS of folks who voted for O last time (for whatever reason) that are DEFINITLEY not going to vote for him again!
Will they vote for ROMNEY?
Who knows?
If they don't; then it IS a vote for ROMNEY, because they WON'T vote for O!
(Ain't logic FUN!!!)

if you dont vote for anyone, thats a vote for obama as his die-hard supporters will vote for him. thats the catch...Unless you live in one of the few purple states, it is not a problem. Even if I lived in a purple state, I wouldn't vote for Romney - his politics are just too hideous. I will never vote for the modern-day equivalent of Nelson Rockefeller. If Romney converted to evangelical Christianity today, I'd be thrilled but I still wouldn't vote for him.
If my non-vote for Romney is a vote for Obama, then my non-vote for Obama is a vote for Romney and they cancel each other out. Therefore, my non-vote is a non-vote.
Romney will have to earn my vote (and he faces a huge uphill battle). He'll not get it because of guilt (which the non-vote argument is trying to instill) nor because of fear (which hyperbolic rants against Obama are trying to instill).

Close...but not quite. It was a thread from about 18 months to two years ago. It was a bash on Mormon theology, and I merely offered that in MY experience, the Mormons I knew were wonderful, etc. Two (and possible three) posters jumped on me and said what I reported was irrelevant to the discussion. And, I don't care for your tone, so if you do not believe what I say, you can just pound sand.

Let's take it logically -- let's assume the people who don't like Obama or Romney don't vote. That brings us down to the die-hard Obama and die-hard Romney supporters.
now, who can be a die-hard Romney supporter? The great flip-flopper?
I think there would be more die-hard O supporters and he would win.

But I’m sure that the jury will STILL want to see the evidence; as many CLAIMS are made in these threads that never seem to be substanciated.

Actually, it is not a strange dichotomy.
Many mormans have alot of the same values as what Christians value.
Yea, and I have read the BOM, DOC, the 19th Wife, The Golden Bible, archeological evidence and DNA evidence that disproves the BOM.
I have also read the koran. that is a book from hell.
if you prefer a muslim in office rather than a morman, that’s fine. but i do not think a morman is going to run a jetliner into your home.
Blessings, Bobo
