It’s clear goo, whatever it is.
Kind of reminds me of rubber cement or sap or something.
I have *no* idea how/where he picked it up but a ton of dust and fuzz was stuck to it.
He’s been living in the space between the kitchen ceiling and the bathroom floor and that part of the house is 112 years old.
No telling what’s in there!
Thank God the little idjit didn’t crawl into the drier!

The sticky mystery goop is still on him... Try some mayonnaise (the real stuff) on it. Seriously. Warm it to body temperature and slather it on. Give it a couple of minutes, then see if it has started to dissolve the goop.
I know that it works for asphalt.
