Reading this article and reflecting on the past few years of Pope Benedict's papacy, the thought that comes to mind is one of St. John Bosco's dreams.

From Mark Mallett's blog:

THE ATTACKS

In the dream, St. John Bosco recounts:

The battle rages ever more furious. Beaked prows ram the flagship again and again, but to no avail, as, unscathed and undaunted, it keeps on its course. Catholic Prophecy,  Sean Patrick Bloomfield, P.58

Nothing could be truer as, by the power of the Holy Spirit, the course of the Church has been steadfast in these turbulent days. Nothing, says Pope Benedict XVI, will deter the truth.

The Church… intends to continue to raise her voice in defense of mankind, even when policies of States and the majority of public opinion moves in the opposite direction. Truth, indeed, draws strength from itself and not from the amount of consent it arouses.  —POPE BENEDICT XVI, Vatican, March 20, 2006

Please pray for Pope Benedict!

Whatever “disarray” the Vatican is in, it’s nothing compared to the disarray in the Ubama/Demcocrat/Cloward-Piven complex.

The press is trying their best to suggest that this is a “Vatican leaks” scandal, and that Pope Benedict is unable to control anything.

Nothing could be farther from the truth. From what little I’ve actually seen, as in this briefly mentioned letter from Cardinal Burke concerning misbehavior by Cardinal Bertone, it is the faithful members of the Church finally making an effort to expose the heretics and dissidents.

In his sermon closing the event in Milan, the pope, speaking to a crowd of one million who had come from as far away as Zimbabwe and New Zealand, stressed again that the family must be based on marriage between man and woman and open to the possibility of having children.

A million people from all over the world attend a mass celebrated by the pope at the World Meeting Of Families, and this is the news headline?

Imagine if Obama spoke to a million people. Imagine if 1,000 people met in support of same sex marriage. What would the headline be?

It makes me wonder just who is behind this attack on the Pope.
