I seem to remember a long, heated discussion on a different board that specified the official title is “Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod”, but that the initials LCMS should never include the hyphen.
If there needs to be a separate LCMS Ping List, I’d like to be on it, but I hope that the Lutheran Ping List continues to include LCMS stories.

I’m very glad to see the Lutherans in the LCMS and the NALC join our Canonical Orthodox Bishops in North America (ALL of them!), and of course the Roman Catholic Bishops in opposing obama’s latest attempt to destroy the Christian Church and the sanctity of Life in our land!
Southern Baptist leaders have also spoken out. I’d like to see the other conservative Lutherans and Anglicans join us, too!
We must all stand together!!!!
