Re-writing both the headline AND the article (exceprt) is generally not a good idea.
The archbishop hardly buckled. He was censored, withe the blame being laid at the sentence, “Catholics should not - and will not - comply with this law.” The army purposefully misread that sentence as opposing the rule of law. The sentence removed, the archbishop’s letter is still a powerful rebuke against the Obama regime, and can be read throughout the army.
Don’t snipe at the good guys.
Archbishop pulled the line Catholics “cannot—and will not—comply with this unjust law.”
I would have rephrased it thus:
“This mandate is unconstitutional and can NOT be enforced.”
“Let’s evaluate Satan’s commitment to Separation of Church and State.”
