Senator Rick Santorum yesterday called Obama's administration "hostile to people of faith, particularly Christians, and specifically Catholics" according to the LA Times.
Good on Rick. Catholics need to beat this drum until this country wakes up. And right now Rick Santorum still has microphones following his every move. I hope it continues because:
1) I want Santorum to win.
2) We need someone pointing out how awful Obama is on religious liberty...and
3) Rick Santorum is the only man in America who still uses the word "poppycock." And I for one would like to see that word make a comeback.
"That's just a bunch of poppycock," Santorum told reporters when asked about White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's statement that the administration was willing to work with religious groups to address their concerns. "I mean that's just ridiculous. Mr. President, we're not that stupid."...As long as Santorum's voice is being heard I think it's a good thing. The Obama administration is terribly anti-Catholic and this needs to be a HUGE issue in this campaign. And I'm just not sure Romney's got the poppycocks to beat the drum on this issue. He's mentioned it a few times but something tells me that religion isn't going to be something Romney's going to want to talk about a whole lot.
For Santorum, Carney's remarks at a White House briefing offered an opening to press his case that Obama administration rules on government-mandated health plans will force the Catholic Church and other religious employers to provide birth control despite moral objections.
Carney said misreporting had led some to overlook an exemption for churches and houses of worship. He also said the administration would work with religious groups to strike a balance between healthcare for women and the religious tenets of their employers, a pledge that Santorum dismissed as bogus.
"The administration saying, 'Oh, it's just a misunderstanding,' is just a bunch of bull," Santorum said, adding: "Guess what? They do provide some protection for some religious groups -- just not Catholics."
Santorum called Obama's administration "hostile to people of faith, particularly Christians, and specifically Catholics."
"I'm not going to stand for it," he said.
Catholic ping!
Increasingly hostile.
I have never in my life heard of any actual person using that word. But I guess it gets the message across.
Santorum is 100% correct in the content of his assessment of the Obama Administration.
Most all Muslims are hostile to Christians....
I prefer “balderdash,” myself, but any historic invective is welcomed. I’d love to see someone call Zero a “craven caitiff.”
Does that make Santorum the "iron lady"? Fine with me. I was a Bachmann supporter before I switched to Santorum.
A huge problem we will be having if Romney (I do not support him) is the nominee, is that he will be unable to go after 0bama on any issues related to religion, as he will not be in a position to bring up religion in his campaign.
Merriam Webster says:
Origin of POPPYCOCK
Dutch dialect pappekak, literally, soft dung, from Dutch pap pap + kak dung
First Known Use: 1865
It gets the job done without any false dignity. : /
Well, now. That’s very interesting! I may have to substitute “poppycock” for more contemporary scatological exclamations, and move “balderdash,” “bilge,” and “hogwash” down the list.
Good for Rick!
Obama is a poor example of a Muslim also since Obama tries in vain to appease the Christians by quoting the Scriptures...but his Bible quotes are always WRONG and OUT OF CONTEXT...which is another proof that Obama is NOT a Christian. After all, his teacher is Rev. WRONG!!!
Bible proof in Acts 26 that God and Christ commissioned Paul to be an Apostle to the Gentiles:
Acts 26:13: At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.
Acts 26:14: And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
Acts 26:15: And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
Acts 26:16: But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
Acts 26:17: Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
Acts 26:18: To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Romans 2:16: In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Sadly Mr Santorum the American Government is hostile to Christians. Many of the policies and programs are in direct opposition to Christianity and by law Christians are forced to participate and accept them..........
Kulturkampf
“Flapdoodle” might work also.
Indeed. It’s nice to have someone run for president who actually believes in religious liberty.
Zero is a ne'er-do-well, a dastard and a nincompoop.

We should never lose sight of the fact that the number 1 issue during this election is jobs. It doesn’t hurt to show the tyrannical power of government crushing everything in its wake in the aftermath of the health “reform”.
