You know what? I have been watching this blog for some time and this is my first post. I seem to see those who take the name Christian, but through their post they dont seem to baring much good fruit. A lot of the posts are slanderous to say the least. Some condemn Romney others condemn Gingrich etc. People we as Christians need to get down on our knees and first and foremost ask our LORD to forgive us of our Backslidden sinful ways (sin is sin with no degrees). God is the Person who will put our next president in office.
If we unconditionally worship Him in a manner that is fitting to Him He just may look on this nation as He did Israel and Judah when the worshiped idols and fell away from Him. He just may punish this nation for ignoring Him. If we come to our senses and realize the God is in control He may just give this nation the leadership it needs. I mean putting THE LORD first above all else.
I am praying for God to put a true Washed in the Blood Believer in office.
Just remember what Jesus said in John 15:16-17;
16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruitfruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 17 This is my command: Love each other.
I would like to see what slanders have been made against the cult leader.
I would like to know why we should not condemn an anti-Christian cult leader who tries to trick and seduce Christians to abandon Christ.
I would like to know in the practical world we don't defeat him in a political race for President of the United States, if we don't jump in and participate, and overcome his attempts to win popularity among voters?
1 Corinthians 13:4-13
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Welcome to FR. However we are a forum, not a blog and who do you support?
I suspect our new freeper has never tried witnessing to a Mormon.
"God is the Person who will put our next president in office."I suspect you want to believe that, so why not show us scripturally why you believe that. And just for the record, I do not agree with such a blanket assertion; such a flat assertion has tagging along the unspoken insult of blaming God when a ruler is the enemy of the people, even when that people are not Israel.
One of whose sons?
Hi R, what fun, eh?
Signed up to post this for a vanity? I’m thinking re-tread.
Hi T, glad to see you are up from your nap. :)
Always fun to troll arrogant newbs. I thought about calling in Laz for the ‘baring good fruit’ comment (the mispelling).
I don’t know much about naked fruit...
I know, I laughed about that too :-)
Then I remembered that God came to Earth as a man, walked with us, and died a gruesome death... so that we would be polite to each other.
You might want to watch more carefully. This place is not a blog.
This should help.
Or this.
True. God is still working on my bi**hy side.
LOL.
