**Just last Sunday night I was called to the deathbed of a colored woman who had been away from her duties for nine years because she was hurled out of a white church and even cursed… . Even Protestants, when sick, will send for me in preference to their preach­ers, and they treat me with the greatest respect… . That makes me feel that there is a great work for me here.**

Wonderful story and a somber lesson. Jesus said, “Come unto Me, ALL ye who are weak and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” I hope I meet this amazing man someday.
