A German Catholic priest has admitted 280 counts of sexual abuse involving three boys over almost a decade, the BBC reported. About 2,800 pornographic images -- including several of his victims -- were found on the priest's computer.
Named only as Andreas L, the priest, 46, told a court in Braunschweig he did not think he was doing harm.

Phoenix Mosque Leader Accused of Molestation
PHOENIX - A high ranking Muslim leader is behind bars, arrested by Phoenix Police on suspicion of molesting a 10-year-old boy.
This guy is an imam, the highest ranking leader at a central Phoenix mosque.
Police say after his arrest he admitted to molesting a young boy. Still, members of the mosque are defending him.
Everybody loves and respects him, Im sure this must be some mistake, says mosque member Jamil Aziz.
As news of the imam’s arrest spread through the Muslim Community Mosque, members refused to believe it.
Its unbelievable to even think that because hes caring to all the children here. Many children come in here, says Aziz. Im sure it must be some mistake because his character here is spotless.
54-year-old Muhammad Aziz Shah is accused of molesting a 10-year-old boy. Police say it happened two different times earlier this week inside a central Phoenix home.
According to court paperwork, the 10-year-old told his mom about the touching and she called police. The boy said he pretended to be asleep when Shah went into his room.
Detectives say Shah admitted to the victim’s mom that he’d inappropriately touched the boy while the boy was sleeping. Then the imam confessed to detectives too.
Shah has been the imam at the Muslim Community Mosque for about 10 years. They currently have about 500 members.
Right now, Shah is being held without bond. Police say he told the victim’s mom he was planning on leaving the country.
Police say they don’t have evidence of any other victims.
The filthy lucre just keeps on rolling in for them. The “Name it and Claim it” slogan was pretty catchy too. I can’t help but think there’s going to hell to pay someday.
neither does Jerry Sandusky. Neither did Michael Jackson.
"Understanding this first, that no prophecy of scripture is made by private interpretation." 2 Peter 1:20
That evil devil. Children can’t consent. What a piece of human excrement. He needs an exorcism.
People ought to take this seriously and not associate with adulterers, thieves, etc. I just had a long discussion with a financial adviser and he said years ago one of their group, married, told them over drinks he was seeing “a hot number.” They dropped him like a hot potato, they were so outraged and offended. People that have married their adultery partners are still adulterers and should not be associated with.
Please tell me why the word ‘HOMOSEXUAL’ is not mentioned?
**”Understanding this first, that no prophecy of scripture is made by private interpretation.” 2 Peter 1:20**
A.A., are you using that verse in accusing metmom of making a private interpretation of scripture?
If so, you apparently do not prefer reading/presenting the Word in context. The following verse: (21. For the prophecy came not in old time BY THE WILL OF MAN: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.), shows in that passage that Peter is teaching about the God inspired accuracy of the true prophets. He then moves on to false prophets and teachers in the next chapter, continuing that teaching, even to people wrestling with the scriptures ‘unto their own destruction’ in closing chapter 3. Such misconduct is abundantly warned of in other epistles, and in Acts as well, so I’m sure you can find a more suitable verse/passage to make clear your opinion.
(smorgasbord?) classy, as always. ;)
WPaCon: You'll be happy to know that it probably won't.
You do realize what you just said......right???

ROFL!!! Funny!!
actually, traditionally they defrocked the guy, but the “experts” at Johns Hopkins advised the bishops they only needed treatment.
And if you have time, go down into this article and note how many teenagers had intercourse under age 13.

Yes. There will probably never be an end to the sex abuse scandals. There may be many fewer instances of abuse in the future, but there will probably never be absolutely none, since priests are sinful humans like the rest of us.
I also said that RnMomof7 will be happy to know that instances of abuse will most likely continue to pop up.
The “health professionals” certainly did get a pass in this mess didn’t they?
Some people committed the worst sin possible by knowingly moving these monsters from church to church - but some made the mistake of taking the word of the “professionals”.
So they listened to so&so’s professional pronouncement and felt obligated to give another chance.
I really can’t remember seeing much outrage over their role in all of this.
Totally off the subject, but did you notice the completely unnecessary use of the TASER, *after* he had stopped, and raised his hands in surrender to the police?
