Every time one of these cases comes up there is evidence of fraud.

Then you should have absolutely no trouble coming up with some evidence that these people are committing fraud. So please put up or shut up.

I'll wait.

If you read Casey, Lawrence, and Romer, there is NO QUESTION that polygamy will be legalized 5-4, unless those precedents are overruled OR the Court declines to follow precedent.

Hey, government officials are adults who have "consented" to give certain qualifying people welfare.

I haven't consented to paying for them. They're extracted from me under the threat of violence and at the point of a Government gun. All parties to the transaction aren't consenting.

You're advocating that the thief who robs me be able to give my belongings to someone else simply because the two of them agree to it. That's hardly a completely consensual relationship.

You've never taken a class in basic Logic, have you?

You're the one who's poking his nose into other peoples business by posting the thread in the first place. I'm simply pointing up your multiple errors in Logic for the rest of the forum to marvel at.

I consider this a public service.

I haven't consented to paying for them.

Oh. We didn't know you had solo sovereignty in deciding these governmental lobbying decisions.

Had we known, we'd been lobbying you all along to put at least a slowdown to these things. And here you've had financial veto power all along. Why haven't you used it? Why have you let the legislators run hog wild on this?

They're extracted from me under the threat of violence and at the point of a Government gun.

A bit of a melodramatic drama queen, I see. Oh, sure. The gov has real threatening power. But violence? Held up at gunpoint by the gov?

All parties to the transaction aren't consenting.

Are you suggesting that EVERY taxpayer be consulted on EVERY governmental financial decision?????????????????????

WOW!!!! And here we thought you wanted a smaller govt...and yet you apparently want to bloat the government to such a proportion that the government needs to work to secure a unanimous taxpayer buy-in on every budget item before it can be spent!!!

Hey, bud...why don't you try your local kindergarten class of your local public school...and start with just trying to get unanimous decisions re: spending decisions for every graham cracker purchased for snack time. If you're successful there, we might let your bloated "unanimous party" approval idea move up the next level.

Your laimbrain thinking is no thinking at all...You REALLY are advocating that ALL taxpayers "consent" to EVERY governmental financial decision???????????

Wow! You're plain nutszoid!

"Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force. Like fire it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." George Washington. All laws are backed up with the explicit use of force if you refuse to comply. Try not paying your income taxes for a while. Nice men with guns will show up looking for you.

Were you unaware of that fact?

Are you suggesting that EVERY taxpayer be consulted on EVERY governmental financial decision?????????????????????

I'm suggesting, as does the owner of this forum, that the Government do only those things specifically enumerated in Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution. Taking money from one taxpayer at the point of a gun and giving to someone who has not earned it is NOT one of those specific, enumerated powers.

Have you ever actually read the Constitution? Could you comprehend it if you did? I suspect the answer to both of those questions is no.

As to the rest of your incoherent ramblings which I suppose are to be considered a response I'm not quite sure what to say. Welfare payments aren't authorized anywhere by the Constitution. Period.

Anyway, you're quite plainly blinded by your irrational hatred of Mormons to the point of explicit religious bigotry. It's interesting to watch in a slow motion car wreck sort of way actually. But, like that car wreck, it's ugly.

So back to the subject at hand. Unless you can produce some sort of hard evidence that these people are engaging in welfare fraud of some kind they aren't harming anyone except maybe themselves. Therefore it's none of your business and it's certainly none of the Governments business.

It must be really tough to wake up every day with skin filled to the top with stupid.

Reality TV stars Kody Brown and his four wives say they just want one thing: to be left alone.

Works for me; if they just LEAVE THE SYSTEM alone as well!

It is my well considered opinion that consenting adults who aren't stealing Government funds or directly harming anyone else should be able to order their living arrangements any way they choose.

By saying DIRECTLY I will assume that you acknowledge that there is an INdirect component to all of this a s well.

How much you want to bet that these women are getting food stamps...... and other government TAXPAYER goodies....

Down with Food stamps and UP with soup kitchens - manned (womanned) by those who would eat for FREE.

...I'm not quite sure what to say.

Of course you don't know what to say now!

When it was pointed out that financial governmental decisions were made by consenting adults -- benefits given to consenting adults...
-- you tried defending why you've stuck your nose into consenting adults' business by claiming "all parties" -- 100% of taxpayers -- need to sign off on every governmental budget decision.

When that mammoth of all mammoth governmental ideas of your lamebrain flopped with a site-wide deafening thud, it left you stuck in your muddled mind...

So why, again, are you sticking your nose into what "consenting adults" are doing again with taxpayer $? You want to try again from yet another angle...???

I thought you were such a big advocate for others to keep their noses out of what "consenting adults" do?

And it can't really be that you're advocating for 100% taxpayer check-off on every financial decision, can it be?

Since you apparently consider yourself of advanced intelligence would you please point out your claim against Colofornian: hatred of Mormons to the point of explicit religious bigotry

No prob...this particular thread is an intellectual vacuum like most of its brethren...regardless, it was a damned good zinger and deserved a bump.

Obviously. What's your point? Are we going to start making things illegal because some indirect harm might come to someone, somewhere? Think very hard on that question because it's how anti-Constitution liberal types justify their actions.

There are a couple of posters on it who seem to be able to consistently suck all of the intelligence out of any thread they visit, one in particular.

I'm pretty tired of these Mormon bashing threads. It's almost like the person who posts them is some kind of liberal mole trying to stir up trouble between groups who consistently vote Republican.

That sort of thing didn't used to be tolerated here.

Ok, another no explained claim, show one example of "Mormon bashing threads".

There are dozens exposing momonISM, not one that bashes mormons.

And it will be used to bring back the practice of polygamy legally. That doesn’t mean that Mormons are not culpable.

Back in 2002, the gay polygamist I know (College professor) said clearly that after gay marriage, polygamy was next. I also know some mainstream Mormons who opposed Prop 8 (contrary to the PR) because they realize that it is the door to bring back the proper teachings of Mormonism (Polygamy).

I already did you idiot. Like I said, I know many polygamists and ex-polygamists, my husband is listed to do pro-bono for polygamists who leave and we are registered as a safe house for women who leave polygamy.

Now, you put up or shut up about polygamy not hurting anyone. Check out childbrides.org, helpthechildbrides.com, www.shieldandrefuge.org; the DVD “Lifting the veil of polygamy”, there are many more if you just get your head out of the sand long enough to look for it. Talk to these people, this isn’t a victimless crime at all and welfare fraud is part of their doctrine.

Again, how many polygamists do you know IRL? How many? Put up or shut up.
