These are all worthy people; I think the significance of the martyrs of the Spanish Civil War should not be overlooked in the rampant secularism & class warfare being spread in our country today. Our schools still don’t teach about the war in Spain; it is boiled down to “Hitler used the war in Spain to support a fascist revolt and try out his new weapons”.

Hitler & Mussolini saved Spain from the fate of Eastern Europe for the fifty years following WWII (and that of the Ukraine for years before that). Franco always maintained that he would live & die in a Catholic Spain, and he did; anybody who didn’t like it was free to leave.
