If believing that Jesus Christ is my Savior is “corny” I am guilty as charged.
I don’t care if Mormons deify a dead rabbi from a couple thousand years ago and try to follow his example the best they know how. That part is great, but the mainstream Mormon beliefs that come out of the Book of Mormon and the DnC and other writings, such as becoming a god of your own planet, just strike me as odd.
