This child of God is my friend's son and he was abroad for Campus Crusade for Christ spreading the Gospel. I found out at church this morning and my heart has been breaking all day. I can't say too much right now because his body has not been released from the country yet but his mom's quote to me at church this am was that he was "murdered in muslim fashion". I would ask that you all might reflect on the words you've used on this thread (me too) and ask yourselves if this is what Jesus would want from us.
How dreadful! Prayers offered for the consolation of his family, his eternal rest in the arms of our Savior, and just especially for his parents in their grief...
Thank you for telling us, as a reminder that sometimes the cost of following Christ is the ultimate. God bless and keep you, too, bearing such sad news.
