The attack on Mormons and Mormonism is fueled by the popularity and message of Glen Beck, and the possibility of a nomination of Mitt Romney.

No; it is FUELED by CHRISTIANS who have finally said, "ENOUGH!" to the lies and heresy that is MORMONism; and we will NOT remain silent any longer.

You may believe whatever you wish though.

And that is an absolutely deplorable behavior and should be condemned loudly.

Oh; we do...

I am sure there is a church somewhere that defines Christian as a belief in Jesus Christ being genetically cloned from Adam ... make our own definitions, but that doesn’t make them effective for everyone else

- - - - -
But that is exactly what Mormons do, make up their own definitions and then insist that all Christians accept them even down to the definition of Christian and Mormon. They don’t let those who really follow Joseph Smith’s teaching on polygamy call themselves Mormon then they get upset when people don’t agree they are Christians.

You cannot be a Christian and follow a false Christ.

If these men were being totally condemned, Jesus wouldn’t ask the crowd to continue to follow what they say.

Why not?

Wouldn't their WORDS still be true?

I judge their behavior, they worship false idols

So do Mormons, including Glen Beck.

Communion is the equivalent in the Roman Catholic Church...

But does YOUR church have altar calls?

Being in the Flock doesn’t say you are saved, that is where we are missing each other.

I haven never seen the connection you are making between the “Flock” and Salvation.

The Flock is how you are guided by the Shepherd to salvation.

Otherwise the parable would go something like ... “the lamb was born but yet not a lamb because he chose not to be part of the flock nor a lamb as God would want it to be”, that doesn’t make sense at all.

This is how Jesus taught.

This would actually fall into the false preachers as well because he presents himself in that role vs Glen who I am unaware of casting himself in that role.

- - - -
If you preach false teachings and call them Christianity, you are a false preacher. Just because beck uses politics as a covering doesn’t mean he doesn’t slip in Mormon teachings, and he does.

This article didn’t even talk about this and this was only brought up when I pointed out flaws with this personal attack.

There you go again!

(I'm STILL waiting for the CONDEMNATION of him reply number.)

Mormons are NOT evangelicals and any Mormon would laugh at that inclusion. Mormons make fun of Evangelicals and Catholics the most.

The sin of Adam

We don’t require someone to believe to be subject to this.
________________________________________

No Mormons dont believe that Adam and Eve sinned

In fact mormons believe that Adam and Eve “fell up”

that they did a good thing...

that they did nothing evil..

Lds apostle Dallin Oaks wrote: “Some Christians condemn Eve for her act, concluding that she and her daughters are somehow flawed by it. Not the Latter-day Saints! Informed by revelation, we celebrate Eve’s act and honor her with wisdom and courage in the great episode called the Fall.” (”The Choice that Began Mortality” Liahona, 2002)

Sterling W. Sill, a member of the First Quorum of Seventy, made the same point in colorful language:
This old sectarian doctrine, built around the idea of man’s natural depravity and weakness inherited from Adam, is at the root of innumerable problems among us. Adam was one of the greatest men who has ever lived upon the earth....
Under Christ Adam yet stands at our head.... Adam fell, but he fell in the right direction. He fell toward the goal....
Adam fell, but he fell upward. Jesus says to us, “Come up higher” (Deseret News, Church Section, July 31, 1965, p. 7).

Mormons believe that Adam is their mormon god...

Brigham Young claimed that “God revealed” to him that “Adam is our Father and God.”

In spite of the opposition, Brigham Young continued to teach the Adam-God doctrine.

In 1873, just a few years before his death, he declared:
How much unbelief exists in the minds of the Latter-day Saints in regard to one particular doctrine which I revealed to them, and which God revealed to me—namely that Adam is our Father and God.... Our Father Adam helped to make this earth, ... he and his companions came here. He brought one of his wives with him.... Our Father Adam is the man who stands at the gate and holds the keys of everlasting life and salvation to all his children who have or who ever will come upon the earth.... We say that Father Adam came here and helped to made the earth. Who is he? He is Michael.... He was the first man on the earth, and its framer and maker. He, with the help of his brethren, brought it into existence. Then he said, “I want my children who are in the spirit world to come and live here. I once dwelt upon an earth something like this, in a mortal state. I was faithful, I received my crown and exaltation. I have the privilege of extending my work, and to its increase there will be no end. I want my children that were born to me in the spirit world to come here and take tabernacles of flesh, that their spirits may have a house, a tabernacle or a dwelling place as mine has, and where is the mystery?” (Deseret News, June 18, 1873).

In 1856 the Mormons published a hymnal which contained a hymn entitled, “We Believe In Our God.” This hymn plainly taught that Adam was the father of Christ:

We believe in our God the great Prince of His race,
The Archangel Michael, the Ancient of Days,
Our own Father Adam, earth’s Lord, as is plain,
Who’ll counsel and fight for his children again.
We believe in His Son, Jesus Christ, who, in love
To his brethren and sisters, came down from above
To die to redeem them from death, and to teach
To mortals and spirits the Gospel we preach.

(Sacred Hymns and Spiritual Songs for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Liverpool, 1856, p. 375, as quoted in “The Position of Adam in Latter-day Saint Scripture and Theology,” p. 16.)

I am missing where he is saying his is proselytizing Christianity....surely there must be a video.

Everything I saw, said it is non-denominational which I don’t like anyways ... kind of like the United Methodists Churches around here with Muslim’s giving sermons on a Church Camp.

They didn’t do it by fighting with them, they did it by turning the cheek and showing love.

So who FIGHTS with them?

We show stuff from their OWN organizatrion and they cannot deal with it.

You really do not like the command Paul has given CHRISTIANs to REBUKE those who teach false things; do you?

I am unaware where Glen Beck has declared himself Prophet, Teacher, or what ever

- - —
He doesn’t need to declare it, his words do that for him.

BTW, Mormons only have on PROPHET at a time, the president of their church so Beck would never claim to be a prophet. But as an ‘elder in Israel’ (mormon term for priesthood holder which all boys/men over the age of 12 have) he is considered a teacher to all, even non Mormons.
