Besides, I ask a serious question — if someone does not hold to the Trinity, thinks that the angels are extra-terrestrial aliens and other outlandish beliefs, on what basis do they mock others?

Besides, I ask a serious question — if someone does not hold to the Trinity, thinks that the angels are extra-terrestrial aliens and other outlandish beliefs, on what basis do they mock others?

Here's a better question Cronos, since when is it acceptable for you to stalk someone across several threads, which is a direct violation of the Religion Forum rules?

Especially when part of your charge is a blatant falsehood, where you're trying to smear another poster's beliefs by twisting what he's said and explained on numerous occasions. Quix holds to the doctrine of the Trinity (but you know that), holds the idea that "extra-terrestrial aliens" are actually not aliens at all but demons masquerading as aliens (but again, you know that but you want to twist it for some reason to question his sanity and, indirectly, his Salvation) and holds to the "radical" idea that we're currently seeing the formation of the Anti-Christ's government as written about in Scripture. He refers to it as the New World Order, but the idea is the same. But again, you know all this but still persist in twisting his words for your own gain.

All of that has been gleaned by actually reading what Quix has written, not what you or others have written about him. Say, wasn't there a command by a fairly famous Rabbi about not bearing false witness? Can't put my finger on it, but I'm pretty sure He did say something about that, well He did before the Romans crucified Him. Maybe you could look Him up sometime, He's even had a book or two written about His life and times. Check in your library for "Holy Bible", I'm pretty sure that a Catholic Church library would have one of those.

Anyway, I'll readily agree that some of the preachers in Quix's denomination have gotten into territory which is false teaching at the least, but do you really want to be branded by what some of the Catholic Priests have done in the past? I'll agree that Benny Hinn and Jesse DuPlantis are wrong to teach what they've been teaching, but the Inquisition was a decidedly Roman Catholic institution if you'll remember and the last I recalled, killing someone is a far graver sin, even by RCC standards, than what these false teachers are accused of.

Oh, and while I'm at it, what about calling out your own co-religionist MarkBsnr for his anti-Trinitarian statements, such as the one in post 136 where he states the following.

I have read the Koran and have a copy. Here's an even bigger hint: the Jewish OT God is not a Trinity either. He is monotheistic in the exact sense, as is Allah. Islam treats Jesus as holy. Judaism does not.

Seems to me before you talk to someone who's not a part of your own denomination you should clean your own house first.

angels are extra-terrestrial aliens

IMHO I think the linkage is better between extraterrestrial aliens and demons rather than angels. IOW are they ET's or demons? I do not know but, Thank God, God knows.

I met an angel once, Years ago I was on the road between business meetings and my 1980 Regal refused to start. In a panic, because I would not make my next meeting, I opened the hood and started to look. A gentleman walked by and said try again. Without questioning I got in and it started right up. I looked for the gentleman but he disappeared! I do not know but, Thank God, God knows.
