Finding this huge snake skin today, on the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, reminds me of my life and times as an exorcist here and there around the world. It comes to mind to do a series on exorcism tips for the new exorcists coming on the scene in America and right around the world. Mind you, its NOT that Im anything special at all. Its just that Ive had quite a lot of varied experience, both in the training of exorcists and in doing exorcisms. Experience is always useful. Always. In this series, I wont conjecture anything. Ill be extremely strict about the interpretation of restrictive law about exorcism, keeping you within the parameters of obedience to Holy Mother Church. Heres the first tip, taking a hint from the great letter of Saint Judas (or Jude) in the New Testament (see 1,9): Saint Michael the Archangel would not rebuke the devil, but counted on the Lord to do this for him. Never, dont ever take it upon yourself to revile Satan. Humbly ask Christ our God, the Son of the Immaculate Conception to do this for you. If you do that, Satan will jump right out of his skin and depart immediately. Hes nothing compared to the Son of the Immaculate Conception. Asking is deprecation. Everyone is free to do that. We do that at the end of the Lords prayer: Deliver us from the Evil One. If you are an exorcist, expressly mandated by your local Ordinary to do an exorcism or to have the ministry in an ongoing manner, and you are called upon to pronounce an imprecatory exorcism , such as Begone, Satan! imprecation being a direct command never, dont ever forget that you are doing this in the name of Christ our God, the Son of the Immaculate Conception. If you, for a second forget this, Satan will have his way with you. Ive seen this countless times as an exorcist. In any case, recite the prayer to Saint Michael after every Mass. These are not suppressed for the Extraordinary Form of 1962. That suppression came a couple of years later and would not affect the provisions of Summorum Pontificum for the 1962 Mass. Even in regard to the Ordinary Form, I think both Blessed John Paul II and Pope Benedict have asked that the Prayer to Saint Michael continue to be recited after every Mass.
Perhaps some of you have read the horrific however brilliant book by Malachi Martin, Hostage to the Devil, written in the heyday of Jesuit evolutionary pop-psychology. Youll notice that in each case, he pits the exorcist against the devil, personally, directly, so much so that Christ does not really have a role in the exorcism. Rather, it is a battle of wits between the exorcist and the devil. He even frankly says that in his appendix at the end. He played directly into the hands of the devil on this one. This is exactly, precisely what you are not supposed to do. The exorcist is to depend entirely on Christ Jesus, no more, no less. I had lunch with Malachi in the mid-1990s so as to discuss exactly this point. It really does seem, as I said, that, for instance, in one case, he was so able to trounce the biological evolution of Theilhard de Chardin, S.J., his fellow Jesuit, for the very reason that he had merely jacked it up one level, to a spiritual evolution, whereby the exorcist was leading humanity onward by way of battling the worst and winning, spiritually. He was rendered quite speechless about this. Anyway, note the change in popular culture in a different way, whereby it is ourselves who are to battle Satan, not God. This can be seen in statues and paintings of Saint Michael. It just happens that before the 1960s, he is depicted with a very calm face, for it is God who does the battle. After the 1960s, Saint Michael has an angry, almost frustrated face, for he is doing the battle himself. Not good. Again, Saint Michael himself said: May God rebuke you! |
If demons hate Holy Water...that's good enough for me.
My approach is in some ways more complex than that...but in other ways...that approach is about right.
Satan attacks God's agents. Why would he attack his own followers? He attacks his enemy. If you are his enemy...expect a perpetual attack!
And arm yourself!
You both reminded me of time I did the same thing. I was reading a Dennis Wheatley book in college, stayed up until the middle of the night to finish it, but couldn’t turn off the light until I’d put the book in the hallway. I recently discovered by accident, that he was seriously into black magic, and knew Alister Crowley from the Ghost Society at Cambridge. The author was known at the time as a popular English novelist and mystery writer with nothing ontoward made known. He’s from an old English gentry family - they owned a winery business which went bust during the depression which is why he took up writing. He knew all the European hob-nobs, many of which were into the occult.
“Anyway, note the change in popular culture in a different way, whereby it is ourselves who are to battle Satan, not God. This can be seen in statues and paintings of Saint Michael. Paintings are a great indication of where we’re heading. The deterioration started around the 14th century. Holland - Antwerp and Haarlem (and other European countries) were forbidden to paint, sculpt, write, publish, anything remotely Catholic. Soon there was no God, no Holy Family, no angels or saints. The Guilds were taken over by rich freemasons, paintings were made bare of anything remotely Catholic. They painted pastural scenes, animals, still life, the usual portraits and discovered the ancient Greek gods and goddess’ which depicted nudes in all varieties of poses...
Guido Reni painted that depiction of St Michael - he also painted this one of David...

Ping to #24 as it was meant for you. You’re doing a great series on excorism. Thank you.
I did spirit release work in the 1990’s for quite a few years. At times it got really bizarre as the spirit would take control of a person and try to harm me. The real key was to never allow fear to enter me. As long as I continually stayed connected and allowed “Spirit” to work through me, they could not harm me. When you radiate unconditional Love, you are totally safe. Often the person would come at me trying to physically harm me and would hit a wall a few feet from me that they could not penetrate.
There were five of us doing this work at the time from various parts of the country. I was the only one that was not a medical Dr. Ironically, the other four ended up dead. There is no room to do this work from ego or you will slip up and the result is fatal.
Somewhere, I have a tape recording of a nasty demonic spirit that tried to kill me for several years. It moved into another woman and it was all two of us could do to keep her in the recliner and from harming herself. The transcript of this tape is in Dr. Irene Hickman’s book called “Spirit Depossion.”
I stopped doing this work after an intense session where there were hundreds of dark spirits going to the light, redeemed from their work. All of a sudden the room got freezing cold and I felt the presence of the ultimate evil. I turned to Michael and said “There he is. You can get him.” To which Michael replied, “It’s not time yet.” I realized that even evil has a purpose and that God is in control. His plan is unfolding exactly as it is supposed to, on His timetable. Everything, even the current chaos in our world is exactly according to His plan!
This is totally different from the hypnosis induced mind control stage tricks used by some evangelists. I would never, ever do this work in public as the people watching become vulnerable to harm.
Ps. Most spirits are not demonic. They are just stuck here misguided. I still help people who are having problems with ghosts in their houses, but would never go out looking to do it.
“I read Hostage to the Devil many years ago after reading People of the Lie by Scott Peck and noticing that Peck had generously cited Hostage”
Peck was on target with his writings, but even he slipped up and got caught. I was headed to visit him in CT to help him out when I got word that he died. When you do this work, you constantly get stung. This is why the Apostle Paul spoke of his “personal demon” that he had to be on guard against. St Teresa of Avila referred to these as reptiles that would enter her feet and try to trip her up. The Hindu statue of Shiva in the ring of fire, shows his foot on top of the “malignant dwarf.” Again, it is his personal demon.
You can feel dark spirits at times if your thoughts go on an unpure path as they try to enter through your feet and move up into your body. Often the cramps, which move around are painful. A simple prayer directed at the area of your body removes them immediately. I think that this is the reason that Jesus washed his disciples feet, i.e. to remove the achilles heel that is left open and allows them in.
When you confront a demon, it gets really hot in the room. It’s the reason that “Giving a prayerful blessing to an evil person is like putting hot coals on top of their head.” They are deathly afraid of the Divine Light as they incorrectly believe that it will kill them, rather than purify them.
Ps. It’s also the reason that the “tares in the wheat will be burned” in Matthew 13. We are living in absolutely wonderful times.
I have meet occultists. They always notice and respect this medal. My friend showed one the medal she fell back on the floor.
You need to get a blessed medal. Always blessed.
The Saint Benedict Medal
St. Benedict was the father of Western Monasticism. He was born in Nursia, Italy, in 480. Beginning in 520, he founded twelve monasteries in the region of Subiaco. The foundation at Monte Cassino (529) became the cradle of his Order. His twin sister was St. Scholastica. Benedict died march 21, 542.
St. Benedict had a profound veneration for the Holy Cross and for our Saviour Crucified. In virtue of the Sign of the Cross he wrought many miracles and exercised great power over the spirits of darkness.
In consequence of the great veneration in which St. Benedict was held from the early middle ages, it followed that a medal was struck.
His medal has exceptional powers against the demons of Hell.
The Medal of Saint Benedict is one of the Sacramentals of the Church. The value and power of the Medal must be ascribed to the merits of Christ Crucified, to the efficacious prayers of St. Benedict, to the blessing of the Church, and specially to the faith and holy disposition of the person using the Medal.
Description
The front of the medal shows St. Benedict holding a cross in one hand and the book of his Rule in the other. Flanking him on each side are the words:
Crux S. Patris Benedicti (The Cross of the Holy Father Benedict). Below his feet are these words: Ex S M Casino MDCCCLXXX (From the Holy Mount of Cassino, 1880). On that date , Monte Cassino was given the exclusive right to produce this medal.
Inscribed in the circle surrounding Benedict are the words: Ejus in obitu nostro presentia muniamur (May his presence protect us in the hour of death).
The other side of the medal is where the real exorcistic force reveals itself. In the center is the Cross. Benedict loved the Cross and used it to drive away demons.
The vertical beam of the Cross has five letters: C.S.S.M.L., meaning Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux (May the holy Cross be for me a light).
The horizontal beam of the Cross also has five letters: N.D.S.M.D., meaning Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux (Let not the dragon be my guide).
The four large letters at the angles of the Cross: C S P B stand for Crux Sancti Patris Benedicti (The Cross of the Holy Father Benedict).
Encircling the Cross in a circle around the right margin are these letters: V.R.S.N.S.M.V., meaning Vade retro Satana; nunquam suade mihi vana (Begone Satan! Suggest not to me thy vain things).
Around the left margin of the circle are these letters: S.M.Q.L.I.V.B., meaning Sunt mala quae libas; ipse venena bibas (The drink you offer is evil; drink that poison yourself).
At the top of the circle is the word PAX (Peace).
Use
No special way of carrying or applying the Medal is prescribed. It may be worn around the neck, attached to the scapular or the Rosary or simply carried in one's pocket.
Often it is placed in the fields, the foundations of buildings or attached to automobiles to call down God's blessing and the protection of St. Benedict. No particular prayer is prescribed, as the devout wearing itself is a continual silent prayer.
Wow! Never thought of that. Your whole post is jam-packed with profound ideas.
What specifically were you referring to about Peck slipping up and getting caught? I vaguely remember something...but nothing specific comes to mind.
Thank you for your excellent comments.
While I have the deepest respect for others people’s methodologies, I do not put my trust in any physical object other than the Holy Spirit and the strength of Jesus working through it. Many times during a session, “I” appeared to be a failure. It was not until “I” gave up and allowed God to work through me that the results were successful.
I take no credit for the successes, for if I did I would also have to take credit for the failures and they would be a burden I could not bear. When I do this work, my ears are listening and learning from the words that are coming out of my mouth. Once when I met imitators, my gut feeling was that something was wrong. Logically everything appeared ok. Just then the words came out of my mouth..”Do you believe that Jesus Christ was born in the flesh?” The spirits responded..”We know Jesus.” To which the voice from my mouth stated, “That was not the question!” and the voice repeated the first question again. At this time the blue eyes of the two spirits turned from blue to black and then to red and their true nature came out. It was about a month later when I stumbled onto the exact words in 1 John:1 on how to test spirits. It really works.
I trust my soul to Christ to protect me. Directly, not through a medal or another person. I agree, the medal can have power. But it always happened that when I relied upon something other than Christ, a stronger more demonic spirit would come along and burst my bubble.
John Grace’s comment about the medal is very important in that the medal gives us a constant reminder to keep our focus on the path. The true power in the medal is the direction it points our thoughts and consciousness.
Just as I realized that evil has a purpose, the other people doing spirit release work came to the same conclusion. That does not however mean that you allow them to do evil deeds. You must be as strict as a school marm but also loving. If you lose your focus, they will trip you up. Any unresolved issue in your soul becomes an opening where they can sneak in. I define “sin” as any act or thought that creates a space in your soul where Love cannot exist. Any unresolved sin makes us vulnerable. (I resemble that remark!)
“Any unresolved sin makes us vulnerable.” This is why Jesus said, “You must be like a child in order to know thy Father.” When you look into a childs eyes, they are pure. But, when they do something wrong, they cannot look at you. We must strive to cleanse all these blocks, all the way back until we become like a child.
For some reason unknown to me, I can read these soul fields in people around me. I read their souls, all the way back to conception and tell them what happened in their lives in order to help them resolve. It’s pretty easy to tell what a person’s mother thought of their father when they were in the womb as the fetus picks up the mother’s memory as their own.
My favorite scripture is at the end of Matthew 13 where the disciples ask Jesus to explain the parable of the tares in the wheat. We (mankind) are the good seeds that are planted here in the field (earth) to grow! (forgive the paraphrase)
But My friend's wife who is into the occult told me she was a Christian. I told her to say the apostle's creed or that Christ came in the flesh. She tried but could not but stutter that there was many Gods.
I know how important those verses are spiritual. You can stand on the promises in scripture especially 1John 4.
How long were you in ministry with these others. I find you to be some what genuine in everything written. I pinged some friends to really learn together.
THANKS FOR THE PING.
A worthy topic.
Well put in post #31.
Thanks.
The only qualifier with the St. Benedict Medal is that it must be blessed by a Benedictine!
Now Katia hurricane is forming. What truly blows my mind is the dates the governor of vermont married two same sex people 3 days before Irene formed in the Atlantic ocean.
"Psalm 107:33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground; (34) A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein. (35) He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.
Commentary: Hurricane Irene Governor of Vermont "marrying" two women. I was looking for a link to Hurricane Irene with national sin. I did not see any direct connection to Israel whatsoever. I did sense there was a direct connection with sodomy and especially New York State. On July 24, this state began to officially marry homosexuals. Hurricane Irene hit a month later and heavily damaged the state, but I did not post this because it just did not seem strong enough of a link.
A reader of this blog from Vermont sent me the clear link. Vermont was the hardest hit state with record breaking floods and damage. On August 17, just 11 days before the devastating floods the Governor of Vermont married two lesbians in his office. The above picture is him marrying the lesbians.
Hurricane Irene formed on August 20 just three days of this "marriage". The people of Vermont voted for this governor knowing full well that he was going to marry homosexuals as this was a campaign pledge. The entire state, in a general sense, is guilty before the Holy God of Israel for electing him. A person or state cannot mock God without repercussions. Nearly all the states that received damage from Hurricane Irene were promoting homosexual marriage.
This is NOT the end of judgments but more on the way. A nation cannot marry homosexuals along with advancing the homosexual agenda and bully Israel to divide the land without hearing from the LORD. Remember, September 20 is the day the military officially will allow open homosexuality and the Palestinians make their application to the United Nations for statehood. It will be very interesting to see what Obama does with Israel at this time. He already is officially on record to divide Israel and Jerusalem. Hurricane Irene just might look like a summer's weekend thunderstorm compared to what is coming.
Remember on Tuesday of last week was the earthquake that shook Washington, DC and entire East Coast and now a hurricane that affected a huge section of the East Coast and devastated Vermont. All the warning signs are there for imminent destruction of huge sections of America.
I see no hope for America because the vast majority of the church is sitting on the sidelines or hiding in the tall grass. Without the church crying out to the LORD in repentance, there is no hope as the nation has offended the Holy God of Israel.
May the LORD God of Israel protect you during the events that are bearing down on America and, in fact, the entire world."
Too many coincidences.
