Brethren, Hilaire Bellocs apologetics classic , The Great Heresies, is now available for download in EPUB format from here. Yours truly did the compilation and conversion. Please, let me know if you have trouble downloading the file.
- Download The Great Heresies.
Thanks. I’ve downloaded it and will add it to Calibri.
Great! Then it works!

Excellent, thanks Teo. I’m still thinking about picking up the Nook Color and adding the Android chip. But I’m also thinking about just getting an Android phone.
Does anyone have any pros or cons on reading books on an Android phone? Is the screen big enough?
One of the finest books by a truy great English essayist. He brilliantly demolishes the heresies of Protestantism and Islam.
Sincerely, Katholic heretic who loves the ADONAI, or HaShem if you prefer...
Whether a faith is a heresyor not depends on who has decided it’s a heresy.
You need to first try reading the book. It’s a required text in Oxford. And only for serious intellectuals.
Not exactly. What can examine the historical record to determine what was said and taught and when, and how and for what reasons the message or doctrine was later distorted.
I’m surprised you read it considering the criteria. BTW you sound like a Dem...
Brian, may I make a suggestion? I bought a nook color in May. It’s easily possible to run under android from a micro sdhc card. Mine has been doing it for the last month and a half. I still have tons of books on it, and the main memory is recognized and accessible from android. I did it in hopes of purchasing iPieta for the ‘droid and installing, which I’ve done. Works well this way. The other way it’s quite useful - it’s just the right size to use in conjunction with this : http://divinumofficium.com/cgi-bin/horas/officium.pl
Thank you Teó. I can’t wait to read this on the nook.
” What can examine the historical record to determine what was said and taught and when, and how and for what reasons the message or doctrine was later distorted.”
It’s still nothing more than somebody’s opinion.
Will have my mother in law check it out

You would too if you were an Oxford graduate. Democrats hew to heresies not tradition and orthodoxy.
Meaning - Truth is not relative, it is whole - it cannot be picked apart - and it is found in the Catholic Church.
You do live in an interesting planet.

Very well known facts of Papal sin(including attending orgies) during the middle ages and reformation eras. In fact Catholic scholars have written on it. I inhabit the same place as you Theo, happen to know just a little on the subject...
I too know a little on the subject. Quite a bit, actually.
I was referring more to your overall worldview.
Popes who attended orgies had the gift of infallibility, yes, just as Saul had the gift of prophecy and Solomon the gift of Wisdom.
Nor is the Catholic Church Pelagian, nor has St. Augustine been demoted, etc. etc.
