You'd think someone as smart as Yoko Ono who lived through Watergate would have learned the most important lesson the scandal taught all of us: the coverup is always worse than the crime. But, if several reports are to be believed, she didn't and has for years been keeping secrets from all of us about her late husband.

It may be that the Lord allowed her to be unscathed in the attack because He is hoping she will come to Him someday.
It may be that John was wavering in his belief in Jesus so God allowed him to come home to Heaven.
It will be interesting to see who is in Heaven and who is not.
Because of his status as a Beatle - and the most talented of the fab four. He and McCartney wrote some beautiful tunes. My favorite: Norwegian Wood.
I also have wonderful memories of him in my NYC neighborhood. He was always out and about. His vile, senseless murder was one of the darkest days in NYC’s history.
If John Lennon had lived. Yoko’s gravy train probably would have come to a screeching halt.
They should play her songs in GITMO..
Someone told me a story of how they were driving in NYC and saw Lennon trying to hail a cab. The person stopped and yelled: “John! You’re a Beatle! Why don’t you have a limo?” He ended up driving Lennon uptown.
I always saw him in Bloomingdale’s. No one ever seemed to notice it was him - except me!!! Would never bother him, though.
Oh brother...
I’m not a fan of Yoko at all, but Lennon always said she was a brilliant businesswoman. She sat in the Dakota all day long making deals to increase their wealth.
Now that Amy Witehouse has croaked, we’ve got Yoko as the most talented singer on the scene.
I always thought it weird that she’s continued to live at the Dakota. How could you walk through the entranceway every day with the memory of your husband murdered right there in front of you? Tough broad. I’ve heard she owns half the Dakota.
I’m excited to read this information. I loved Lennon work and would love to think he found his way to the Lord. May God bless him and forgive his sins.
The Dakota was in a few exterior scenes in the movie “Rosemary’s Baby.”
Actually Yoko was not beside him when it happened. She had went into the Lobby while John stopped to sign an autograph.
Lennon and Ono's separation was 18 months from late 1973 to early 1975. He spent most of that time in L.A. living with May Pang and drinking with Harry Nilsson. He reconciled with Ono in early '75, their son Sean was born in October and Lennon stayed home to raise his son. There was no later separation.
I hope he wound up in the right place, and may Yoko reap what she has sown.
An eternity of horrible screaching sounds.
Rosemary’s Baby - the book and the movie - is based on the Dakota. It’s always been said that it was haunted and had a dark history (way before John Lennon’s death). I love that movie.
I hope he wound up in the right place, and may Yoko reap what she has sown.
An eternity amidst horrible screaching sounds.
Had to stop reading right there.
