Vampires, the devil's deceit and mental illness are among the hot topics for some 300 exorcists who flocked to Poland this week from as far away as Africa and India for a week-long congress. Held at Poland's Roman Catholic Jasna Gora monastery, home to the venerated Black Madonna icon, this year's congress "examines the current fashion for vampirism in Europe and the world-over, schizophrenia and other mental disorders as well as the devil's deceit during exorcism," according to the monastery's radio station.

Ack!
They’re HERE?!?
Well, we know He sure didn’t have triskaidekaphobia.
The RC church is the only church to perform exorcisms?
News to me..
WELL DONE!!!
Absolutely. Charlie Manson, Jeffery Damner, oh yeah I believe it demonic possession.
I don’t think the exorcists necessarily do anything fancy. I saw a priest speak at a Catholic charismatic conference who talked about banishing demons. Something along the lines of “In the name of Jesus Christ I bind the evil demon in [Aunt Matilda]” often does the job. Jesus’ Name IS powerful.
Slightly off.
That which you name you have power over. From Jesus and the demon, “Legion,” to any good exorcism flick, the exorcist always asks the demon its name, so it may cast it out.
In the case of our current resident-in-chief, his name means “Lightning from the sky,” in the biblical tongues: “I saw Satan fall, like lightning from the sky.”
And “slightly off” back at you. (I believe it’s a two way street.)
The following is a most scholorly analysis of the real meaning of The Usurper’s chosen name:

Wow. Totally different than what I was referring to.
Wow. Totally different than what I was referring to.
I’m not saying you’re wrong about naming.
I do believe there’s a flow both ways in the act, both empowerment and control, and both are Biblical.
I just point out the Forbes article because many do not realize that in this case, The Usurper ~chose his own~ name wile being fully cognizant of what it would mean to his “target audience.”
I personally think those who consider demons and demonic possession to be "just superstition" have fallen for the devil's cheapest trick.
Absolutely, unequivocally 100% correct.
I’ve seen it.
Those in doubt and unprepared - Beware.
