Vampires, the devil's deceit and mental illness are among the hot topics for some 300 exorcists who flocked to Poland this week from as far away as Africa and India for a week-long congress. Held at Poland's Roman Catholic Jasna Gora monastery, home to the venerated Black Madonna icon, this year's congress "examines the current fashion for vampirism in Europe and the world-over, schizophrenia and other mental disorders as well as the devil's deceit during exorcism," according to the monastery's radio station.

I believe that Satan can possess people. I think of Manson... for instance.
Jesus believed in demonic possession and exorcism. You think He was the superstitious type?
appellations
I feel your post most confabulatoric and fullest to the proscribed rhetoricall theorietical ( allegoricall )
wildcat jefferfranklin.................. ha!
I’d believe in exorcists before I’d believe in New Age gurus and various TV evangelists and pop psychologists so popular today.
I have seen it (evil.)
That said, there are demonic things about us, this I know. Yeah, the Bible tells me so.
And I ain’t even Catholic.
God Bless us all, everyone.
Its a bigass spritual fight atm.
Laugh all you want, but I’m coming to the belief that it was exorcists who were responsible for the 95% decline in sex-abuse cases in the Catholic church between 1978 and 1990.
Yes, all the sex abuse covered in the news media took place before 1990, before the secular news media had a clue there was a scandal.

The ritual Satanism is part of many, many of the early sex abuse cases.
Hmm, I always thought You were Satan incarnate just screwin’ around. Lazy rainy days and all...
Begging the question of whether they are indeed possessed humans or rather demons assuming human form.
And by the way, what’s the best technique for tackling a vampire? And are there any rules about how you can and can’t do it?
Do you believe in Jesus? Do you believe he was God incarnate? Do you believe he was a liar?
Maybe you need to read one of my comments on the thread.
I do think evil exists.
So ... a sense of humor is also good. When you lose your sense of humor is probably when you need to worry.
Who said otherwise? I believe that evil exists, and have seen humans possessed by it!
(They attended church every Sunday, and still do.)
Tell that to Jesus
Jesus didn’t believe in exorcism. He believed in casting them out. No rituals, no fancy stuff, just telling them to beat it. The RC church is the ones who believe in fancy stuff.
Amen.
Uh...would somebody kindly give me a heads-up when they start doing it here?
Yes, please.
I detest the effete, glittery little twit.
“Sage” wisdom, there, buddy.
