In gratitude to Cronos for his tireless exposure of apostasy and sin in the PCUSA and other liberal protestant denominations, doubtless motivated only by Christian love, I humbly return the favor with a shocking expose of pervert priests in the Pope's back yard. Love ya, Bro! (in the Christian brotherly sort of way, not the "Vatican Priest" sort of way!)

the difference of course is in one case we have official doctrine of a church changing and the other we have sinful, hypocritical conduct that if discovered would be punished by the church.

For my part, I’m appalled that anyone would want to drag the name of Christ thru the mud - Catholic or Protestant. The non-Christians I meet don’t distinguish between Presbyterian, Catholic or Baptist - they just call ALL Christians hypocrites.
There has always been evil people pretending to be Christians in the church, and always will. But I’d like to ask both sides of the dueling “Who has the worst people” conflict to ask themselves, “Does this advance the cause of Jesus Christ in a fallen world?”

But requirements like those are impossible to enforce, and they are plainly ignored. In Romes medieval quarter of Trastevere not far from Le Mani In Pasta, the International Ecclesiastic Seminary attracts men from all over the world who want to study for the priesthood in the heart of Rome. A professor there, speaking on the condition of anonymity to protect his job, says the vast majority of the young men who come to study are sexually active gay men who quickly become part of the lively gay culture in Rome. Not all the priests are gay or practicing, he concedes, but in recent years he says he has noticed that most new students are young men with a certain sexual slant, and he fears that the institution has a reputation for attracting only gay seminarians. And how many of these queer recruits were coached as altar boys by other queer priests??? What a creepy organization...

Homosexuality is an abomination to God. The Churches have been infiltrated. There are many false converts and many who embrace false doctrine. Apostasy is through out. The Bible prophesied this.
Christians need to get right with God on an individual basis and come out from the wicked organizations. God will execute His judgement against these wicked, phony Christians, laymen, priest, or whatever.
It’s time to get right with God people. Do it now. Time is short.

But a recent exposé is rocking the Catholic Church. Thanks for posting.
Y'all saw the date on this article, right? It's July, 2010.
So....... now that we're 12 months down the tracks, I guess we can look back and ask; what was the upshot of this Newsweek article? How much did it "rock" the Church?
What have been the consequences for Catholicism? Are we still here?
Discuss among yourselves.

Christian love involves truth YET you refer to a newsweek article?
I will not wast time with the garbage you wish to feed me. I would prefer that you yourself show some spine and post your thoughts rather than hide behind some garbage giggling like some spineless leftist would.

Men who practice homosexuality, present deep-seated homosexual tendencies or support the so-called gay culture cannot be admitted to seminaries, Ratzinger, as Pope Benedict XVI, wrote. The only exception would be for those with a transitory problem that had been overcome for at least three years. But requirements like those are impossible to enforce, and they are plainly ignored.
Wrong - it's NOT impossible to enforce. Spiritual leaders need to be honest - at minimum. Ask. If they lie, they're out.
