Interesting. I don't know if this is really in any way representative of Jewish thought. I would doubt it.
ZC -- do you agree that this is not representative any more than the WBC is representative of Christians?

Actually, this guy is just your standard, run of the mill, OPC member. This group tells its members not to celebrate or greet Jewish friends on Jewish festivals and also that Jews are not the chosen people.
The OPC/PCA is rabidly anti-semitic.

Are you saying the majority of Presbyterians are anti-Semites?
To: samtheman
NO!!! The OPC is just 10,000 adult Furthermore,
they are not even Christian, far less Presbyterians.RJR_FAn is just your standard, run of the mill, OPC member. This group tells its members not to celebrate or greet Jewish friends on Jewish festivals and also that Jews are not the chosen people.
Note that there are many believing, Christian Presbyterians like the Cumberland Presbyterians etc. who do not espouse these OPC views. The OPC of course condemns these Christian groups for not being OPC.

Ah, ZC, RJR is a member of the OrthodoPresbyterian C, a sister group of the PCA. Both groups are stridently anti-Jewish. Their doctrines say that
According to the OPC OrthoPresbyterianC members " should not celebrate the Seder or other Jewish festivals. " also they seem to promote the idea that Jews are not the chosen people.
you can ignore my earlier question as they are an anti-semitic group. They are not even Christians, far less Presbyterians, so we must not judge all Christians not even Presbyterians by this anti-semitic group, the OPC

from the catechism
When she delves into her own mystery, the Church, the People of God in the New Covenant, discovers her link with the Jewish People, "the first to hear the Word of God."
The Jewish faith, unlike other non-Christian religions, is already a response to God's revelation in the Old Covenant.
To the Jews "belong the sonship, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises; to them belong the patriarchs, and of their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ", "for the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable."

SOME REPLACEMENTARIAN
NAYSAYERS
HOSTILE TO ISRAEL
ARE RABIDLY STUBBORN in their convictions that they are right and others aren’t close to right.
It could be logical, given their UNBiblical eschatology . . . that they could merely wait and ‘allow others’ to see the purported errors of their ways.
However, some of them seem incredibly intent on trashing Israel almost every chance they get.
To me, that shows a horrifically UNBIBLICAL, UNGODLY attitude.
GOD WILL FAITHFULLY KEEP
EVERY ONE OF HIS
EVERLASTING PROMISES TO ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB.
AS ALMIGHTY GOD SAID—HIS PROMISES TO ISRAEL WOULD BE IN FORCE AS LONG AS THERE ARE STARS, SUN, MOON.
!DOH!

Note to RJR_Fan: The American Religion venerates anything Israel while simultaneously showing no love for our LORD or the Church. Note here that Colorado Cowgirl actually admits that if given the chance that she would murder Jesus Christ in the most inhumane way, and then says "Jesus is Lord!" (James 1:8)The American Religion? Just what religion is that? There is no state religion. The Constitution prohibits it. As for Colorado Cowgirl's comment, she never said "she" would murder Jesus Christ. She said the World would. Big difference. And by that statement she's admitting that we all are fallen people in need of Christ's salvation. Perhaps that's something you should contemplate on.

What's your expertise in the area?
Or is this spreading the hate towards the OPC time?

I understood what you were saying.
You are right. Jesus is returning (coming a second time) and the whole world is going to gather to make war against Him, led by the anti-Christ. They’re not going to welcome Him with open arms the second time either. The world is still currently rejecting Him, else everyone would be Christian. So, indeed, if He appeared on earth as He did the first time, the reaction would be the same.
Nothing has changed in the world’s attitude towards Jesus.
