They didn't ask GOD anything!

In the Book of Acts, Chapter 17 verse 11,

Paul of Tarsus and Silas preached at Berea, and the inhabitants

"... received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."

, and many of them believed.

I find it a common idea among Anti-Mormons to say it is wrong to pray for Gods guidance in understanding God's word.

Are you also saying that we need not pray and get guidance from God?
