PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 News) - The Provo City Fire Department has released the full report on the December Provo Tabernacle fire.
The 135-page report outlines events leading up to the fire from December 17th that destroyed the historic landmark in Provo.
Trax Lighting and AV arrived at the Tabernacle a few days before the fire to setup lighting for a concert that was to be taped by BYU Broadcasting.
During the setup of a lighting truss, a technician said he set aside two lamps that were part of the in-house lighting system.
Fire officials believe these lights were placed too close to a speaker which started the fire two days later.
The report notes a number of circumstances and human errors that contributed to the unintentionally set fire.
Provo fire says the fire alarm in the building was inadequate and failed an inspection on December 2nd, two weeks before the fire.
The fire alarm system was only monitored in the building, meaning an alarm wouldn't automatically trigger a response from the fire department.
There was also not an automatic sprinkler system in the building that fire official believe would have controlled the fire.
The fire alarm system had a history of false alarms that may have have lead building personnel to "become apathetic to the system as a whole."
At 1:10am the morning of the fire, a fire alarm was triggered and a security guard disabled the alarm and did not contact the fire department, delaying a response to the fire by nearly an hour and a half.
LOL
Ahhhh faithful Magritte!
What would a MORMON thread be without YOU?
Once again, you find EVIL anti-MORMONs but never seem to care about the folks who have screwed up JUDISM more than Christians are alledged to have done.
One would, if it happens.
You seem to be knowledgeable about baptism.
Can you explain why JESUS needed to be baptized?
Does the MORMON 'baptism' (The LIVE folks; as we can ignore the baptism for the dead right now) carry any validity?
Quite true.
The pickin's amoung their OWN is sufficient for any white-collar crook.
Heaven forbid we prevent someone from joining a cult. Its only their soul after all.........
! ... a doubter, or idjit. Care to comment?
But a lot of us can smell quite well!
Is it the muslim LYING part you can't buy; or the SUBJECT matter of the lie that I pointed out?
Nothing; of course.
Why have you returned to the SUBJECT of the thread when we were talking about MORMONs vicously attacking others.
You claimed not to see it, and I SHOWED where it occured.
Any comments on that, or shall we go back to the fire?
I do both! I confess though, my mowing is a lot better than my singing.
I make a noise unto the Lord when I sing, whether it's "joyful" or not is up to others to decide.
Goodnight
“Can you explain why JESUS needed to be baptized?”
In response to John’s question of how a sinner could baptize the sinless. Jesus replied that it should be done because it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness (Matthew 3:15).
“Does the MORMON ‘baptism’ .... carry any validity?”
The first step is to accept Jesus as your savior. If a person hasn’t done that then its not baptism.
Muslims are taught to lie to infidels, their holy book even instructs them to do so.
Well, good for you; but does your 'book' not tell you to try to turn them from the error of their ways?
Well, you be right about the FLAME part!
“Well, good for you; but does your ‘book’ not tell you to try to turn them from the error of their ways?”
Sure it does. In that book Jesus also talks about methods. I don’t recall personal attacks and hate being among those methods.
Dang!
I must have missed that FULFILLING thing in the Old Testement.
CAn you point to it?
Yet; that's kinda how Christianity sees it; but...
How do MORMONs 'accept'?
And does MORMONism's Holy bookS say anything like that?
