I watched the whole thing. My observations are:

A very sugar coated version of what actually occured. No telling of multiple wives, previous history of treasure hunting, no seer stones were shown or magic spectacles. Lots of persecution scenes without ever explaning why they were chased from place to place.

In short, a very deceptive work of fiction. The LDS should be ashamed to present this as a historical piece.
