Yes. I was baptized Catholic, but to be honest, I haven’t participated or gone to church in a very long time.

I don’t really wish to be on the ping list, but I do appreciate the offer.

My faith in God is strong and I’m sure this forum has a lot of support for those who need it.

Who knows. Things may change for me later in life.

Thanks.

I fully appreciate your statement because I have walked away in the past for long stretches of time. Each time, there were excuses but no real argument and, like you, I felt my faith was strong. Both times, however, I was drawn back by an unexpected invitation. The first was from a young boy preparing to make his Confirmation. He asked me to be his sponsor. I was caught off guard and could not say no to his sincere request. Stepping into the church that day, I was quickly drawn into the Mass. It was as though I were being fed and I did not want it to end. When the bishop spoke, it was as though he were speaking to me. I left so refreshed and determined to return the following Sunday.

Today, I am extending the same invitation to you. Whatever your reasons for stepping away, do not matter. Please consider the invitation and visit the following site. I will add you to my daily prayer list. Rest assured that our Lord is there, waiting for you, with open arms.
