In Hyderabad and Lahore, a mob of Islamic fundamentalists targeted the Christian places of worship. Desecrated several copies of the Bible. Anti-American slogans and demonstrations in different cities of Pakistan. The extremists pledge more violence, if Washington does not condemn pastor Jones to death. Bishop of Islamabad: the gesture of a "fanatic."
Islamabad (AsiaNews) - Two believers killed, churches attacked, copies of the Bible burned: the Christian community in Pakistan is once again the victim of violence by Islamic fundamentalists, who have targeted places of worship in the country. The extremist violence was triggered by the insane act - repeatedly condemned by Christians in Pakistan and India of the pastor Wayne Sapp, who last March 20, in Florida burned a Koran under the supervision of the evangelical preacher Terry Jones. The escalating violence has raised alarm over the fate of Asia Bibi, a symbol of the abuses committed in the name of the blasphemy law. The bishop of Islamabad / Rawalpindi defines the US pastor a "fanatic" who encourages followers to a "violent ideology", the consequences of which have an impact "on innocent Christians" across the world.
On March 25, a mob of Islamic extremists attacked a Pentecostal church in Hyderabad, killing two Christians and burning some copies of the Bible. Eyewitnesses said that the fundamentalists stormed the place of worship looking to set it on fire, but a group of believers defended the church. Security forces have fled the scene, leaving those present at the mercy of the crowd. The attackers hurled anti-Christian slogans and a feeling of anger toward the religious minority has spread. in the city The pastor of the church reports that "despite the condemnation of the burning of the Koran" the community "has come under attack because they think that we are linked to the........"

It'a about time we realised that we're all the same to them -- targets....
There are many Christians here and even the non-Christians (northern Germans, English, Scots, Scandanavians, Dutch etc.) recognise and fight against Islam. It's slow, but the reprisal against Islam is starting up.
I'm just glad to dispel other freepers pessimistic views of Europe
I've also lived in the Middle East for quite a few years on and off (but then I'm a guy) so let me say this: for a woman it would be bad if you are a Moslem woman, even worse if you aren't.
Islam is no more than a philosophy made by a h**ny guy to go against the pagan Arabic code.
As per Islam, a man can have up to 4 wives at a time -- he can divorce them easily by just saying talaq, talaq, talaq (divorce, divorce, divorce). It's not so easy for a woman to divorce
He can keep concubines -- no problem. He can marry a 9 year old even if he's 70 but he has to wait until she gets a period before he ugh...
He can have a contract marriage (for 1 hour, 1 day, 1 year etc.)
If a woman is raped, she must have 3 male witnesses to prove her honor (quite impossible you would admit)
When a man dies, he gets 72 virgins (who get "re-flowered" each time) and 18 young boys (who also get "re-flowered" -- and yes, gayness is ok in heaven) and lots of wine.
What of the women? Well they get the joy of seeing their men enjoy themselves.
This is a sick cult that we must stamp out - together, united as Christians.
Amen to that.
And in regard to the Poles...I love 'em! I am a Mick myself, but I have always admired that little island of sanity in the Europe called Poland.

Atta hung out in strip clubs...
I understand the cliche’ that “one bad apple doesn’t spoil the whole bunch”. But what I see is whole bunch of bad apples spoiling everything. All one has to do is simply view arabic television on the internet to see the islamic agenda. Read the koran to see it’s slant on all NON muslims...People may argue that Christianity is no different. That Christians are just too radical. I beg to differ. A Christian may believe your “lost”and if thinks that you may be a non-believer... try to get you to see the Way the Truth and the Light. However Christians believe that we ALL are not perfect and not one of us is innocent of sin. Where as a muslim just wants to convert you to their beliefs or ....simply kill you. Now that’s radical.
