He spoke of the angels singing... typical of a child who listens to Christmas carols ..but angels do not sing ..
Instead of reading the dreams of a chid people would be better off reading the scriptures and seeing what God says about it
Your copy of the Bible seems to be amazingly definite on the things which no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of
man imagined.
For instance: “Angels don’t sing”. Plus you know for a fact we won’t have wings.
Must agree with that. Who does Scripture say has come back from Heaven? A small selection of saints for short durations, various angels and archangels on missions from God, and the 1/3 of all the angels who followed this guy:
Nothing about boys on astral trips.
Answer: Job 38:7 tells us that during the creation of the world, "the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy."
Revelation 5:11-13 declares, Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels . . . They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they sang: Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise! Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!
Luke 2:13-14 informs us, "Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests.'"
The above Scriptures appear at first glance to give clear evidence to the idea that angels sing. However, in each instance, the words that are translated "sing" or "sang" could also be referring to speaking. At the same time, the fact that the angels are worshipping and praising God seems to argue for singing as the meaning, not just speaking. God has created humanity with an innate connection to music and singing, especially in regard to worship (Ephesians 5:19). It would seem logical that God would have created the angels with that same "propensity" for singing. Whatever the case, whether singing or speaking, we know the angels are all about worshipping and praising God. May we follow their example!
Then, and only then, will God'd mysteries be revealed to us.
Yes/no to "angel wings", and all the other mental paraphernalia, will only become clear at that point.
In the meanwhile, we all believe what we choose to believe and what comforts us, for lack of better terminology.
I, for one, do not believe that we'll have physical bodies; if you think it all through, the thought of teaming up with "Mom, Dad, Grandpa, etc., etc., etc." is really quite ludicrous.
It's there, but none of us who 'conjecture' have got the slightest clue...I take zero stock in what this child or any other 'near death' type has in the memory bank; it's probably feral instinct, and somebody is going to have to prove me wrong (which, of course, ain't happening in this world......)
It might be a stretch to assume that our new incorruptable bodies have a physical appearance like angels. Then again it might not be. Apparently angels can appear to be like men, without wings. Perhaps we will have the power to appear with wings like angels.
Angels not only sing but there are choirs of them who do nothing but sing.
He may have mistaken the way they speak for singing.I know what I have seen and witnessed and though I haven’t read his book I can’t argue with what I’ve heard so far.
“but angels do not sing ..”
Well, I don’t know abou that, they do speak, shout for joy, and say praises, and often, saying praises involves singing psalms. The Bible doesn’t specifically say they sing, but it doesn’t say they don’t. It does seem to be something a child would associate with Heaven from folklore though.
