How directly Sister Faustina talked to Jesus. How grieved Our Lord is that we turn away from Him when His heart is so open to us. How he suffers that we do not trust Him, yet He remains, vulnerable and pleading that we would at last turn to Him. No wonder she realized His Divine Mercy and gave us the simple phrase, “Jesus I trust in You!” May we let our hardened hearts be healed and be as open to Him as He is to us.
