I think that you’re equating adultery and polygamy.
I’m not sure that they’re the same thing, but here I’m definitely admitting I’m not an expert.
And I’m pretty sure that Sodom and Gomorrah were pretty much destroyed, and that’s an example of harsh punishment for gays, was there a case where polygamists got wailed upon?
I will admit that the new test can negate the old, or provide added clarification to things that were in the old. But, again, I’m not an expert here. Something like old test - “chosen people” new test - Jesus and what happened there toward the end.
