NYTimes Compares Muslim Brotherhood to Catholic Church
David Horowitz's NewsReal Blog ^ | Feb. 6, 2011 | Lisa Graas

slamopologists at the New York Times clearly love to promote the false notion that Islam is exactly like Christianity, at least when they are boiled down to their basics. Often, the Catholic Church specifically is compared to Islam as if they are basically one and the same.

As we saw in Rachel Donadio’s article on the Cathedral of Córdoba, which she referred to (wrongly) as “The Great Mosque,” Islam is preferred to Catholicism even to the point of blatant lying. Now, we find the New York Times comparing even the Muslim Brotherhood, specifically, to Catholicism in an article that appears to be designed to set readers’ minds at ease about their having power in the Egyptian government.

Once again, it’s time to set the record straight.

Wise people around the world are coming to the understanding that it is very important that everyone clearly define his values, and that people of good will everywhere should join in working for those values that help to build just societies. So it is that Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany, bravely took a stand last October against multiculturalism, a leftist doctrine that walks hand in hand with moral relativism.

The same ilk of cretins who claimed no one had anything to fear from the Ayatollah Khomeini back in '79.

The New York Times? Weren't they the idiots who sent some 'hotshot' reporter down to Cuba who wrote that that nice castro feller and his compadres were going to set up a Democracy there? Who convinced the State Dept. who convinced (as Forrest Gump put it) 'that nice young man in the White House' who called off the invasion support on that little island a while before (again Forrest Gump) 'that nice young man got shot'.

Ahhh yes, the Times. If I ever decided to raise birds, I'd subscribe. Every birdcage needs a disposable liner...

“The Times served as an indispensable handmaiden to Stalin as he carried out this horrendous crime against humanity.

While the communists carried out the mass annihilation of the Ukrainian farmers, the Times assured the Western world that all reports of starvation in Ukraine were merely anti-Soviet propaganda.”

http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-mainmenu-26/europe-mainmenu-35/540

The New York Times was a major propagandist in the Ukranian Genocide: 10 million people (mostly Christian) exterminated by starvation by Marxists in only 18 months, 1932-33.

Show me one place in the Cathecism of the Catholic Church where it says to hate anything other than sin.

Show me one place in the Cathecism of the Catholic Church where it says to kill people.

Show me one place in the Cathecism of the Catholic Church where it says to lie, cheat or steal.

I rest my case.

We’ve got individuals on this website doing the same thing:

>>>>Subjectively yes, objectively no. Within the muslim society, the MB plays largely the same role as the K of C in America. What is outrageous is that the muslim society is so much more religiously driven that it can justify murder and the denial of basic human rights.

Liberals have been quite effectively hypnotized by Obama and that includes liberals who manage institutions including the media.

Not saying that un-hypnotized liberals are capable of rational thought but those under the Obama spell are completely irrational.

To expect them to behave otherwise is illogical.

You can’t compare any Christian church to anything Islamic, because Islam is a political system and Christianity is not.

This is even reflected in the Inquisition, which initially started off simply as an attempt to rebuild orthodox faith after centuries in which the absence of bishops in Spain because of the Islamic invasions had allowed error and confusion to creep into people’s beliefs. It was after the secular powers suddenly realized the potential of this and encouraged a few inquisitors, who had been appointed to be independent and thus fair but also therefore were uncontrollable by Rome, to carry out their wishes and attack the enemies of the king that things got really bad. It’s bad when any religion works in cooperation with a secular power or thinks it is a secular power: look at Calvin’s bloody Geneva, which was a little police state full of torture and executions.

But because of the dynamic of Christianity, it is simply impossible for such aberrations to last very long. Jesus distinguished the secular power and the religious power and Christianity is bound by this.

Islam, on the other hand, cannot exist without being the secular power as well. Its goal is the imposition of sharia and complete control - political, economic and religious - over any society with which it comes in contact, and there is simply no way around this.

"He who will not honor the memory and respect the influence of Calvin knows but little of the origin of American liberty."
