My father suffered with Parkinson’s for many years before his death. It’s a terrible affliction.
My understanding is that there is a “Devil’s Advocate” set up by the Vatican to counter and investigate miraculous claims as part of the process of explaining such miracles. They are supposed to remain objective to a fault.
Whoever that is, I think ya gotta feel sorry for them.
Definitely thourough investigations are held. Although I wonder about the expediency of this announcement.
