I'm Saved -- What now?
Antinomianism and the New Covenant ^ | 1/3/2011 | Gart O'toole

After you are saved, why are you still sinning like Paul in Romans 7? Why are you still despicable? Why are you still thinking in the gutter? Because you are living in the human self. Not the "old self". You will never change . But you want to change but you don't know what to do.

Now God has GIVEN you eternal life. All he asks is that you believe in his Son. Is that it? Your parents can not separate themselves as your parents and neither can God. Your parents will come to the penitentiary to visit you for the consequences of your decadence and law breaking but if you have to look in their tear filled eyes and sit on the other side of that glass , you might want to change things just because you loved them.

You are saved. You are a child of God even if you break His heart but I have a suggestion. Why don't you change your life in gratitude to the Father-- Not for salvation but because of it? Why don't you find a community of fellow believers and start doing something good for them? It's OK to support a building or a preacher, not because you have to but because you want to.

Believing in the Father's Son only allows the potential of Salvation

I write these things to you, who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13

And the greek is present tense ...

That my friend is “dead”wrong. That is why I bring the Gospel.
You deny the Atonement and I find no such thing as “purgatory”. Where do I read about “purgatory” in the Bible?

" If I believe in Jesus I can sin all I want and still go to heaven? Now that’s a sweet deal! "

To those who trust and believe in a " WORKS based " salvation...
Matthew chapter 5 verse :

20 . For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Tell them to read Hebrews chapter 10
Those who treat Jesus Christ's blood as common as bulls and goats as something common shall be in danger of God's wrath, those who trample underfoot the LORD Jesus Christ and who has offended the spirit of Grace.
