Heavenly Father today, we offer up prayers for our American Heroes. We ask that you give them wisdom and insight to know which people and paths to trust, and which ones to avoid. Please bless and protect them, spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally and please, Father, give them the peace that passes understanding.

God, You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore help them not to fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. They will be still and know You are God. You, Lord Almighty, are with them. You, God of Jacob, are their fortress.

Lord, counsel and sound wisdom is yours, You are the God of all the earth, there is nothing that is hidden from Your sight. We come to You Lord and ask for Your wise counsel to be with our military leaders. We acknowledge Lord, that apart from You we can do nothing. Please give our commanders the wise guidance they need, and the wisdom they need for success.
Confound the wisdom of the wicked Lord, and give Your strategies to our troops. Guide them with Your eye upon them and bring them through to safety and peace.
