At Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago they have something called “Catholic Yoga”!!!!
Dr. Mohler may also make every effort to spend no more than 10 seconds on the “pot” lest he derive pleasure from his nether regions but that won’t save his MIND from the fires of Hell.
What kind of moonbat is Albert Mohler?
There’s no religious philosophy being taught, just stretching exercises, muscle control and meditation.
The media gives crackpots like this guy a higher profile in order to paint mainstream Christianity with the same brush.

Good! Now I can tell my wife I can’t go to Hot Yoga anymore or else I’ll go to hell....
It depends on who is leading the class. Some places have only physical exercise. Others are using elements of what is NOT Christian via relaxation/meditation techniques. Christians should indeed be wary.
Personally, as a Catholic, I completely avoid yoga. I can find all the exercise and stretching I need elsewhere.
yes and Kung Fu will give you a plague of frogs....
who wastes time with such crap???
I do yoga to stay limber and while in the many stretches, along with the various poses, I often pray....mostly the Rosary.
Why not???
Does anyone really think the Good Lord cares if pray from while seated in a pew or in a Downward facing Dog pose???
Maybe he should issue a fatwa and blow up some Buddha statues, too. If Yoga threatened national security, I may be interested, but this guy’s “good Christian” nose is way out of joint.
I heard that dancing is evil too.
If you take “yoga” as an exercise then no. It is when you mix in all the mystical stuff that it becomes bad.
Yoga is stretching, right? How could that be a sin?
For the many nitwits who lump Yoga in with exercise and stretching, I’d strongly recommend reading Aleister Crowley’s Eight Meditations on Yoga. That should wake up any spiritually discerning Christians to what the real point of Yoga is. It is a spiritual exercise, designed to “enlighten” the participant, and likely open them up to demonic influence.
