What Catholics Will Be Doing In November
Republican Catholics ^ | September 28, 2010

Posted on 10/02/2010 9:58:24 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

60 Million + Catholic Voters are not going to continue to vote for Oabamanisms this November!

Voting for a person because he or she is Black is no longer acceptable. Marxism and Socialism is not the Gospel of Jesus. He is not Robin Hood. He did not advocate like Robin Hood to steal (excessive taxes) from the rich to give to the poor.(Redistribution of Your Money is Marxism)

He did not say Kill unprotected babies in the womb. He said this: Gather ye little children to me. Do not harm a hair on their heads. No voting for Liberal Judges who let child molesters go free.

You will no longer be doing the work of the Devil. Go in front of Planned Parenthood and get down on your knees and pray the rosary. Look at he medical personnel carry out the white bags filled with a babies remains. Ask God to forgive you. I did. I hope HE did.

No only 30 million of them will.

And if you break it into practicing Catholics then a much smaller percentage will. But there are a lot of "cultural catholics" for whom voting Democratic is a sacrament.

“Most of them will probably be out in force to vote for O.”

I don’t think so.

I think the Catholic vote will go with the republicans this time, for one thing conservative turn out will be better than the liberal, and that will apply within voting blocks also.

Way too many buy into this bull about seperation of Church and State.

Does anyone else separate who they are from how they vote?

It's demented.

They will be doing in November what they do daily. excusing and defending the indefensible. Twisting scripture, changing it, reading between the lines, searching for ways to exalt the very ones who chose to make of themselves no reputation. ANd yet, at the same time, tearing down those who so clearly could lead them out of spiritual bondange and into the freedom that is to be found only in the Finished Work of Christ. Strange but true actions for some 2000 years and some ONE BILLION strong...so they like to brag..

If the Roman Catholics in question are followers of Christ, they will vote against abortion. If these Roman Catholics are simply members of a particular denomination, and lack faith in Christ, they’re very likely to vote in favor of baby-killing (i.e., in favor of Obama and other Demoncrats).

I’m concerned that most Roman Catholics are simply members of a denomination, and will therefore vote for death.

This Catholic will continue to only vote for PRO-LIFE REPUBLICANS.

I have never voted for a democrat in my life and I never shall.

The Left (Media and Democrats) have distorted the story of Robin Hood. He and his merry men (Wow! What does that sound like in todays climate? Well, they all did wear tights.) robbed from the government (Kings and Lords) and gave to the peasants from whom the money was taken. They did not rob from the merchants, tailors, farmers and other businessmen of the day as is now portrayed by the Left.

Try telling that to our large black population in South Africa!

This Catholic will continue to only vote for PRO-LIFE REPUBLICANS.

You're lucky to have "pro-life Republicans" to vote for. If you're old enough to have voted for Ford, you voted for a pro-abortion Republican. In fact, until the turmoil around Roe v. Wade (and presumably the money ripe for the plucking from NARAL, etc.), the strongest voices against abortion were Democrats -- Republicans on the whole didn't see what the fuss was about. I'm trying to think of any strong voices against abortion today in either party (there are very few); McCain's voting record was generally anti-abortion, but I don't recall his mentioning it in the campaign, and I don't recall that he was really inclined to knock himself out on the issue. His "gang of 14" harmed the cause immeasurably.

The MA state Republican party has no anti-abortion plank in its platform; there was some discussion about putting a pro-abortion plank in a few years ago. I think it was while Cellucci was governor -- Cellucci, the Republican who spoke enthusiastically at a "Reproductive Freedom" rally. From what I see on FR, a number of the state Republican committees are no better.

I read a few years ago that a lot of the really big Republican donors either don't care about or are hostile to the social issues, including abortion; the article (sorry I don't remember who wrote it) said that this explains why Republicans will say enough about the social issues to get elected by conservatives, but in so many cases just don't put up much of a fight.

Marxism and Socialism is not the Gospel of Jesus.

No, they're not. However, if more Christians over the centuries had taken the Gospel to heart, socialism wouldn't have had the opening to rear its ugly head. You reap what you sow.

Good points - but - I am tired of Robin Hood being compared to big government redistributing wealth from the rich to the poor. Robin Hood ought to be a symbol of the Tea Parties! Robin Hood took back from the “Rich”, defined by the government of Bad King John, who had confiscated all the peasants’ wealth!

Robin Hood was the champion of the non-elite of the 12th century. He gave a bit of power back to them. (I hope I have the right century)

You’d be wrong. The Roman Catholics that I know are not members of a denomination. They’re members of the Roman Catholic Church, period. As such, most will not, as you said it, “vote for death.” I never have. I never will. Nor do or will members of my family. And we’re not exactly a small family. I only have five kids, by way of example. Roman Catholics are, according to Church teaching, never to vote for those politicians who support abortion (murder). Or Euthanasia (murder). Or In Vitro Fertilization (multiple murders). There are, unfortunately, progressives within the Church. I would love to see them either change their ways, or go. Not within my power, so I pray that they may change. By the way, and not attempting to be anything other than matter-of-fact, denomination is a term for use with protestant ecclesial communities, and only dates to the 16th century or so.

And I’m being matter-of-fact to point out that from the deformed body who finds its home in Rome God has called forth a remnant. Thank God for His holy reformation of His beloved Bride.

Wow. You actually describe those with whose theology you disagree by comparing them to a child born with a handicap?

Sickening.

Enjoy being part of your sleek, well-fed, rich (no doubt) man-made congregation. The God who wins in the end lifts up the poor from the ash heap, and sets him among princes. His word says so.

You lie.

No, I said nothing of “a child born with a handicap.” You’re twisted for implying I ever said such a thing.

The definition of “deformed,” since you clearly are ignorant: “having the form changed, esp. with loss of beauty; misshapen; disfigured.”

Yes, over the years, the body of believers based out of Rome changed from the vision Jesus cast for His Church. And from that disfigured body the Lord called out a remnant to call His own.

And yes, I will enjoy being part of Christ’s Church, and enjoy fellowship with other believers in Christ.
