Father God, we come to You this day and ask
that You direct the steps of all of our American Heroes.
Help them to endure in the center of Your will,
and equip them for every good work, You have prepared for them,
since the foundations of the world.

Provide them that nourishment that comes only from Your
Holy Word, that their souls may be filled and complete,
and help them to rely on no other source than You.

If heavenly wealth were determined by deeds alone,
our American Heroes would have an overwhelming lead over every
American citizen. Our entire country is greatly in Your debt for You are the
One who gave to these men and women unction from on High
to serve the cause of our country's greatest calling.

Lord, our American Heroes, don't do the things they do for fame,
nor for their own personal glory, but because they believe in You
and for their love of freedom, that You have provided through Your eternal grace.
Our American Heroes know that strength can come from enduring hard times,
and we just humbly ask You Lord, to give them Your peace
and mercy, and pour Your blessings upon them as they go through
the hardships of serving our country. In Jesus name we pray Amen.
