Metmom has had allergies and food allergies her entire life. In the last few years they have gotten steadily and progressively worse. Foods have been dropping out of her diet until she reached the point she is at now and can only eat rice, chicken, lamb, and venison. Anything else causes her to react rather destructively, debilitatingly.
The problem is that the repeated continual exposure to the few remaining foods, could lead to a sensitivity to those as well, which has just happened to two foods she had been safely eating since October.
There are options for nutrition should she start to react to all foods, but they are used only in the most dire situations. She's concerned about reaching that point--and frankly has been feeling more than a little discouraged by all such.
She has undergone extensive medical testing which has all been inconclusive. Almost everything comes back normal or negative, and the few things that she does test positive for arent what causes her the most problems.
She is attempting to get into a regional medical center for more specialized medical evaluation to see if they can determine the cause and possible treatment, if any exists.
She has been prayed for and anointed numerous times over the years, however, she would appreciated continued prayer for complete healing.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND HER PLIGHT with as much empathy as you can. She's been through a 1,001 suggestions and tried a LOT of different things. She's been through the Henry Wright seminar and prayers extensively. I don't think she is quite up to handling any more suggestions currently. Those who've been through such can understand such a feeling. She just greatly would appreciate your understanding and PARTICULARLY YOUR CARING PRAYERS.
This summary is per my understanding and might be stated somewhat differently were she writing it herself. I believe she'd affirm the truth of what I've said but these are essentially my words.
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR PRAYERS.
I called corporate offices of several LARGE chains....Told them I was “allergic to soy” and if I died and they didn't tell me what was in it, they would be responsible...That I had to stay away from all SOY...Funny how the mention of legal action gets results.
The only thing that showed up on my skin pricks was “NUTS’ I asked the DR if it was the two legged variety!
BTW Cashews and peanuts are not true nuts...I can eat them.
The repairs to our house were extensive and we decided to let someone else go to that trouble and expense. I still miss that house but hope to never experience pain like that again.
As far as Campbells soups are concerned, they have had MSG in them for so long that I don't even read their labels. I see ads that they have come out with a “healthy” soup but I seriously doubt it. They are still on my no no list.
Prayers up. My sister went through the same thing, only a trip to the aborigines helped her.
My youngest as well. She is fragile medical-wise and it’s taken twelve years to get her to four food repeats. Her kidneys were bad since birth and she has spina bifida, which made it a hundred times harder re: alternative medicine.
If I had a nickel for every specialist I’ve taken her to (besides her nine doctors, had to sell the house).
Metmom, if you want to take a chance, I have someone here who helped me greatly in NYC. IT’s 175 for first visit (two hours). I’ll try to get her to talk to you via phone first re: history, but she has to see you. She’s amazing. She got my daughter to one med from twelve, even with the lack of treatments she could do re: kidneys, medical conditions and young age. She has it locked down where what she does take in balances and offsets negatives.
Mail me and I”l give you more info. Meanwhile give me the whole breakdown so I can schedule other options as well if you come.
I know it’s hard. I had to order food from WA state, dialyze, and anything small that was feasible. She had an impossible diet and requirements, and I actually had to call labs, AG, etcm to keep her from staying in the hospital the rest of her life. She doesn’t want to see a G tube again, even that was coming back up. I can’t imagine what you’re going through.
So mail me, well get on it.
Never give up..
We will pray for you (((((Hugs))))) Fatima
My Dr found a study that said if you live north of the southern boarder of Tenn you are deficient.

Prayers said!
I hope you are getting IVs for nourishment and hydration while they are figuring out how to solve the problem.
Your caring and thoughtfulness is threatening to soak my keyboard.
THANKS TONS.
I ran into another discussion of "rotating allergies" today and some of them involve beans.
It's like you can eat something until your t-cells get more edumacated and then they switch to that, so you can go back to the other thing until the t-cells decide to go back to it too.
That’s pretty believable.
IIRC even 10,000 units daily supplemented has been found to be safe and warranted in some cases. One should carefully research, imho.
In any case—it bears checking out.
$5.00 a bottle at Wal-Mart without a prescription.
This used to take a weekly or monthly trip to the doctor for a shot (depending on how crazy you were ~ more crazy, more frequently, less crazy, less frequently) (Bwahahahahah ~ howl howl howl bwahahaha)

Is the “rotation diet” the same as the basic Celiac diet: Start with one, add another and another, but keep rotation up so no two are eaten on consecutive days?
One problem is an on again, off again post nasal drip or chronic sinusitis ~ that's symptomatic of no lgE.
4-Way or other 2% solution nose sprays take care of the sinusitis. Then there's the wool allergy ~ it stinks! Literally. I've found other people don't smell the horrid odor of wool. Best to keep something between yourself and wool.
Oh, yeah, the 283 mg/dl sugar count migraines ~ that’s not quite an “allergy” but insulin helps a lot. I’ve heard of folks with chronic hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) having those headaches all the time.
I did.
The Walgreens sinus rinse kit has helped me tons.
That would me me! A hypoglycemia headache is nasty and once I got one, eating didn’t help get rid of it. Now when I feel the energy level drop the first thing I do is get a snack. For many years I didn’t realize what was going on.
