Good point! Some of these people are really too sanctimonious; it’s disgusting!
Well, well, I do know of 3 R.Catholics, as well as 1 Southern Baptist in my family who are Republicans, are pro-life, and voted for Reagan, both George Bushes, Dole and McCain/Palin! So what do you think of that? We also voted for every pro-life state governor, senator, and congressperson!
Wonderful.
In the way of the Papacy, an elderly German academic and theologian is proving to be a shrewd fisher of men.
There is absolutely no confliction whatsoever from what Christ's church teaches... only those who look for an excuse.
it’s because the Pope is steering the Church back from liberalism to orthodoxy
And I’m sure glad of it! It’s good to see that when it was wrong, it’s still wrong; when it was right, it’s still right. It started when Pope John Paul was in ‘office’. He was starting the trend; but he wasn’t able to do too much about it in years before his death. I think it had a lot to do with his illness.
He would’ve done a lot more if he hadn’t been so ill. He tried though; (bless his soul)he had started some reform in the seminaries before he had become ill w/Parkinson’s. He still worked on it, anyway. However, it’s good to see that Pope Benedict is able now to continue w/what JP11 left off and carry on w/the reform that was started!
Man when that old “Fisher of Men” went to Great Britain fishing for men and women, he got quite a haul, didn’t he? It’s true that most of them were already Christians though. Still, he sure did lure a lot of Anglican fish back over to the Roman Catholic boat! Take that Henry! (Henry V111-Elizabeth 1’s Dad)he he he..
