Trick you into expressing faith in the Restoration of the “Gospel” (see Galatians Chapter one) 6. Get you all the way into the baptismal font...

7. ONLY THEN... you will learn the true DEVIANT doctrines of Mormonism. At this point, it is too late! You only have feelings as a basis of truth! You will believe anything.

The Prophecy of Joseph Smith

We are fast approaching that moment prophesied by Joseph Smith when he said:

Even this Nation will be on the very verge of crumbling to pieces and tumbling to the ground and when the constitution is upon the brink of ruin this people will be the Staff up[on] which the Nation shall lean and they shall bear the constitution away from the very verge of destruction. Who do you think “this people” refers to?

What bothers you more? That the Constitution might actually hang by a thread, or that Mormons will help to save it?

Are you worried that Glenn Beck or some future person doing as much as he is, might fulfill LDS prophecy more than you worry over the Constitutions' fate?

Why is this so bothersome to non LDS? Sure, we have a wide divide in theological issues, but I thought we are on the same side here when it comes to our Constitution?

What, like “Faith without works is dead.”?

I take it you believe that I could sin terribly all my living days, and then, moments before I die, confess my sins and be forgiven? Well, so do I, under some circumstances, but not as a matter of policy. Better to realize my sinful nature, and do my best to NOT sin for the rest of my life. Not that I'm going to do all that well at it.

As for the triune nature of God, who authorized YOU to define heresy? Personally, I think that is where the Catholics went wrong, but at least they no longer try to FORCE people to believe as they do. Persuasion is a lot more like what Jesus was teaching. That and demonstration/performance.

The rest of your so-called “facts” assume authority you can't prove. In point of fact, the answer to MY prayers on the subject tell me that, whatever church you belong to, you're wrong.

I've been thundered at by some really serious folks. I didn't fall for their line, either. I'm not even telling you I'm right. Just to read the stuff yourself, and think about it, and pray about it. I used to think I knew it all. I was wrong. So are you. Now I'm trying to learn what I am supposed to know, and what I'm supposed to do, and trying to do those things. Persuasion and example. Think about it. Read. Pray. God willing, you'll get it. When you do, let's talk about it some more.

He and I disagree on a lot of stuff, but we both agree that there is only one being who profits from this kind of stuff.

3. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him.

All true faith results in good works. Mormonism reverses that.

1. Do you believe Heavenly Father used to be a man?

let’s start there. If you are a mormon who knows what your group teaches, you will answer yes. The rest would also be affirmative (except about Spring Break - it may happen over New Years)

Your prayers are not the determining factor in truth or fact. Nor are mine.

I have read, have thought, have prayed. Mormonism is a heresy and false religion.

I’ll wait for you to explain how God could have started life as a man, Adam. It’s as good a heresy as any to start with.
