This is an open thread for the discussion of the three eminent good works. Did you know them without looking? LOL!

(Don't we all do these?) (Why do some people say they don't do good works?)

Just curious.

Catholic Quiz and Catholic Ping!

On what liturgical day of the year is the Gospel about these three eminent good works ALWAYS read?

Protestants, you can answer too, if you think you know!

(A quiz?!) Once a teacher, always a teacher!!

I had to wait for my husband to get back from jogging (and then he mowed the lawn), but when he came in and I asked him, he said, “My guess is Ash Wednesday.” Seems he was correct!

On prayer: My Dear Hubby gets some real credit here. He is obsessed with getting to mass on time. I, OTOH, would be terrible about wandering in late, if left to my own devices. (Wouldn’t want to actually PRAY too much, or anything.)

Room for improvement here, on my part.

LOL! that could be true. A lot of praying fasting and, of course, giving money in taxes, on April 15th.

Don't feel bad. Some of us cradle Catholics don't know it either because nobody bothered to teach it to us.

Excellent works to perform, no question. But I would probably put witnessing/evangelization above all three.
